    Isn't that handy!

Hopefully we can ignore the M2009-020R Warrior recall.  I believe that was related to the July 15th 2008 accident (see below) of a 2008 Midnight Warrior where the throttle reportedly stuck causing an accident.  I believe it was later determined to be an isolated problem (the dealer-installed aftermarket bars were poorly installed).  I haven't seen any other Warrior recall chatter so hopefully this dead-link-listing on Star's website is a non-issue.

NHTSA ODI ID Number : 10235109

    Summary:
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 YAMAHA MIDKNIGHT WARRIOR. WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH, THE THROTTLE SPORADICALLY FAILED AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO BECOME STUCK. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND CRASHED INTO A FENCE POLE. THE DEALER WOULD NOT ASSUME ANY LIABILITY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. HE IS IN THE PROCESS OF NOTIFYING THE MANUFACTURER. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 1.
