Colectively, we aren't too bright.  Didn't some Rhat out near there just finish a Party Barn just for us?

Maybe we should call the occasion, Texas Style or Okie Warrior Fest. That way all of the mullet headed Nascar geeks in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida aren't offended by us calling the event "Southern Warrior Rally".Wink

HEY HEY.  Mullet????   Well, I've never had a mullet, don't care for NASCAR and might be a little geeky (not)Big Smile Don't be so stereotypicalCool

Haaaaa! I though that might get some attention. It was only a joke.

If you hold this event in Arkansas you might as well just go to the WOZARK ride. This is how I would do it. Make it a long weekend ride. Everyone who will attend would meet up by Friday afternoon/evening with the ride starting the next morning. Ride Saturday & Sunday then head home Monday or even Sunday evening. This wouldn't have to be a "sanctioned" event, just a few guys getting together for a weekend ride/party. All you would need is a people count for reservations and a good home base to start from.

As for me, I'm bias toward Texas. I prefer the Texas Hill Country because, although I've never set foot in Arkansas, I do know that the THC is a bit more rustic and rugged. If you want to camp out, research Garner State Park or Leakey, Texas. There are several campsites to choose from.

We could call it "The Rhat Trap Rally". LOL J/K man. I hope you'll make a showing if we get something organized. I'd like to see your bike.

Ok I revoke my vote and change it to Tuscola TX. I like that idea my hometown is only 60 miles from there woo hoo. But I am thinking we should call it RAT Rally (like the ROT Rally for those of you who are slow and didnt get it.)

Is there a thread for the Wozark ride?

Not for this year. The guy that set it up last year sold his Warrior and I don't think he is very involved with the forum anymore.

I'm still up for it but I need someone local to do a little scouting while they are out on a ride. I still think the Lake Travis idea is a good one. We would just need a good campground to stay in that would let us reserve a whole section so we can all stay close to each other. Kindof like the guys did for the "Rumble round the rim" @ Lake George. I am all about camping so we can party in the evenings. If anyone will volunteer to do some scouting and then hit me with some ideas and web pages it is much appreciated.
