    dyna coils

I have dyna coils on the way and was wondering if anyone has had or heard of anyone having trouble or anything bad from these. I have talked to someone and he said the stock coils are plenty sufficent for this bike and he has had a bad experience with dyna coils in the past. I know alot of guys are doing this mod and are loving it. I searched and could find anything bad on these. I did hear that jap bikes do really good with these so maybe his bad experience was with a harley or american made bike.OH and I got my vbak today thanks woody.

    Re: dyna coils

I have them installed. What a difference, compared to the stockers! When you run the bike, put your ear close to hear the beasts working... Mines will be painted to match the bike scheme, the original color is not something I like. This thread will get you started, related to installation and usage: http://rswarrior.com/forums/t/119782.aspx

make sure you install the 2-1. The others will not gve off enough spark (I made this mistake). Also check your wires.

I have not had any problems. I love them. The throttle response is immediate. Make sure to use the DC2-1 model for your Warrior. I replaced the wires (8mm) and plugs (Iridium) at the same time.

    Re: dyna coils

Don't coils get hot? If so you'd be better using heat paint.

it is caliper paint I would think calipers can get pretty hot, well anyways I am going to have to repaint them cause I had some paint flaking off when I was mounting them. I am going to wait until I park it for the winter and take them to work and sand blast them and primer and repaint. I'll def. get high temp paint . thx

Hey pep did you ever get a custom map? if so how do you like it was it much different?
