    The HD & WARRIOR

Thought I would share a few pictures of the HD & Warrior, side by side. Its amazing how well they get along, no fighting, no bickering, no bashing on each other. They make a great pair sitting there together, LoL! I went for a ride on both bikes today, 2 hours on each bike and let me tell you it don't get any better than that.

    BS! Smile

New Rule- Nothing new goes on the bike...unless its Black!

**Yamaha has "officially" denied that the Midnight Warrior is equipped with a superior engine to the other colors, but that's because the lawyers told em' to say that.**

     DS,

That's a gorgeous pair of bikes. I have to ask though, They look so similar in shape and style and I know your Warrior engine is hopped up enough to meet or exceed the SE, don't they ride nearly the same? What's the difference feel like?

Tipical... Look at the Warrior... She's leaning over looking at the HD, just to say Hi!....

and look at the HD... Looking and leaning away trying to ignore that Metric...

I was thinking how they both look so much alike.

I know the voices aren't real, but they do have some good ideas.

I want to die while asleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.

Two totally different riding bikes. The HD is a Dyna Low Rider. Sits way lower than My Warrior. I sit more in the bike then on top like it is on the Warrior. The HD is not as wide as The Warrior, so your legs sit closer together, feet are closer to the ground. I never realized the significant difference till I started riding the HD. Then got back on The Warrior. The 250 Fat Tire on My Warrior took a few miles before I got back in the saddle comfy feeling. It kept wanting to stand up when going into turns, but that is expected when riding with a larger rear tire. The HD handles very well for a Harley, but it is no match for the Warrior with equal rider skill in control of both bikes. I have way more ground clearance with the Warrior vs. My HD. I have gone thru every possible scenario to make my Warrior comfortable, but hands down the HD is by far the comfy of the two. Both bikes have the Corbin Rumble Seat. Power wise. It is a toss up. Off the line My Warrior 108ci is a beast, but I will tell you the HD is very, very strong off the line. The front wheel will stand up pretty easy when grabbing a hand full of throttle. I will tip my hat to the Warrior 108ci off the line and up to about 60 - 70 mph after that the Warrior runs out of gearing and this is where the HD shines power wise. The HD has a 6 Speed Transmission. Redline on my Warrior is 5500 rpm's vs. My HD at 5500 rpm's, equal, but when cruising around town at a normal pace. I find myself wanting to shift the Warrior between 2500-3200 rpm's and the HD at 3500-4000 rpm's. Taller gearing.

It is hard to rate the bikes side by side in comparison, since I have done so much to the Warrior over the years and so little to the HD I own.  I bought the HD with that in mind. I did not want to dump a bunch of cash into a new bike. I did that with My Warrior to get it to the level it is at. My Warrior is a True Custom Warrior.

the riding postion on the warrior has to be my only complaint. i wish my feet were a little closer to the ground and my hands a little higher. i have the yami tt bars.  darkstar both of your bikes are sick!
