The Yamaha Road Star Warrior Forum

I have been reading the posts about winshields (I know... I know... the warrior's not ment to have a windshield, but I am.) and I'm on the fence between the Bigshot or the speed demon?  Anyone have experience with these that can steer me in some sort of direction would be most helpful.

I loved the BigShot and did many long trips behind it enjoying the protection it provided. Then I found the Clearview shield which almost looks like a clear shovel on the front of my bike:} It provides a far bigger area of still air behind it than the BigShot and is much quieter. I'm 6ft and the XL Clearview is still slightly shorter than I would like. Never heard of the speed demon sorry. John at Clearview is extremely helpful too....

Wow! Thanx for the info.  Looks like I'm getting the Clearview. 

The only 'catch' with the Clearview is that you need mounting brackets from the Star boulevard shield. There's a set for sale on the 4M or eBay I think. Good luck, you'll love it:}

The only other catch is that their turn around time can be several weeks, so I heard.

I recently bought the medium shield from them, but I bought a blemished, so it was in stock and I got it quickly. Can hardly notice the scuffs.

And yes, they have a great product and excellent customer service
