Headlight mod and ignition relocate complete.*Pics added*

After a couple of days of saying "what the hell did I get myself into" I managed to complete the headlight and ignition relocate.  I relocated the ignition in the ais cover and relocated the tach under the tank for now.  When I get some more rainy weather I am going to relocate the tach to another location.  I like having the toolkit onboard even though the tools are crap so Im in the process of thinking of another spot to locate it.  I spent alot of time pulling apart the wiring for the ignition and re-routing it accordingly to mount under the ais cover.  I used some threaded rod and cut up the bracket for the ais parts and fabbed it all up to accept the ignition.  I think it looks killer and..... no the key does not rub against my leg while riding.  As far as the headlight goes Im still in the process of trying to figure out whether or not to powdercoat it.  Originally it was going to be but Im kinda digging the chrome bucket.  I drilled a hole in the bottom rear of the headlight bucket with a hole saw and ran all of the wires through and installed a rubber grommet from the auto parts store to keep the wires from rubbing on the cutout.  The grommet also fits all of the wires nice and tight and keeps the rain out.   I was also originally going to eliminate the tach completely but had second thoughts and thought that I better keep the computer happy so relocating it was the only option in my mind.  I hope you guys like it.  Let me know what you think.

I like the headlight, I actually like a lot of things about your bike. However, I prefer the stock location for the tach. I depend on the clock and the trip meter more than ever. You did an excellent job on the ignition.

I would like to see where you put your tach. You didn't happen to snap a pic of its location did you?

I unfortunately didnt snap any pics.  I simply zip tied it in place temporarily between the frame rails under the gas tank.  Soon I will be extending the wires and mounting it in a new location.  When I do I will be sure to take some pics along the way.  It will be soon so I will keep you updated as I go.

Oh....by the way.... The wires do infact reach the tach without extending them as long you mount the tach close up to the front of the bike under the tank.
