Was at O'Riely Raceway Park last night in Indianapolis.  Gorgeous day.  Ran a 12.8 yesterday.  Please keep in mind,  I am 6'4" and 295lbs.  Not too bad for an old warrior.  Also has smashmup there racing with me.  Great time.

Just a note from a previous post,  I would never full throttle and dump the clutch.  Nothing good is gonna happen from that.  I would recommend 3K,  have the clutch slighty engage and hold the front brake.  At the light,  as you slowing let out the clutch then go to full throttle,  keep your feet close to the shifter,  second gear comes pretty quick.

    Have fun and be safe.

That's beautiful Micke.  Great pic!  Two questions for you; what is that hanging off the front and could we get a pic of the right side of the bike also?  I'd love to set the rear set on that side.  I can't imagine under 9.5 on a Warrior.  Man that has to be an awesome ride.

     Hi,
The "big thing in the front" is the Intercooler for the turbo, the "small thing right behind the intercooler" is the oil catch tank, and the "minithing" that sits on the CPS cover is a mechanical minidrain-pump for the turbo. I just posted 6 buildpics in my gallery, one of them shows the right side, and some other details like dash, shiftlinkage, swingarm etc...

well last night i made it back to dragway 42 and it was finally a nice night, i have all my mods done pc3,v-bak,new pipes,31t pulley. be fore them my best time was a 13.3 last night was 12.90 at 99.27 my 60 foot time was 1.76 i think that is pretty good, i been reading everyones post and tried to do them all last night i launched at about 3500, the only thing i did not do was lower the psi in the rear just becouse it was hooking up pretty good do you guys think that i might run faster if i lowered the psi or not, thanks for all the help

    Re: 1/4 mile times

Way to go Bryan!  As long as those times keep coming down you're doing it right.   Dropping the tire pressure will give you even better hook up and lower ETs.  Dropping it down to 15 to 20 will make a big difference in how it comes off of the line.  If you do it in stages, the changes will come in small increments and would make it easier for you to get used to.  Whatever you decide, just keep on racing and keep on letting us know how you do.  Big Smile

Re: 1/4 mile times / Deep Forest Nats

Well, this weekend was the last race for me this year, sad...
A long winter is now ahead before we're out on the racetracks again.
On the good side, winter is an excellent opportunity to improve the bike further!
Maybe a MOTEC fuel/ignition system, bigger turbo... hmmm...

Anyway, I managed to improve both ET and topspeed (4 times!) at the Deep Forest Nats (racetrack in city of Sundsvall / Sweden).
Me and my teambuddy Johan held the fastest times through the qualifications. Unfortunately elimination rounds could not be finished
    because of heavy rain.

So, this season ends with these new personal bests:
    1/8 mile: Best ET 6.03 / Best topspeed 193 kmh (119,9 mph)
    1/4 mile: Best ET 9.32 / Best topspeed 239,5kmh (148,8 mph)

    2009 TOYO Dragracing Series Results:
I finished in 1st place in TOYO Scandinavian Series, and came in 2nd in the National Championships, better than I hoped for!
Teammate Johan (ran his first season on a Patrick Racing Warrior) took 2nd and 5th place, continously getting faster. Way Cool.
Especially since competition is almost 100% Harley's...

The Warrior's are so unbelievably well suited for dragracing, gearbox is 100% troublefree, and the gearratio is excellent.
Engine is amazingly robust, Johan' PR bike outputs about 185rwhp, not a single problem. Runs like clockwork.
Same goes for my Turboengine, I'm pulling some 210rwhp out of this engine now (with stock crank/rods/pistons)
and after 8 races (some 60 rounds) we havent had ANY damages in the "engine compartment"... unbelievable.

Hope to be back with more HP, faster times and more racestories next year!
    //Micke
