The fun thing with that race was that it was warriors as the top 2 qualifiers. On my third outing on the PR racebike (o yes I bought one of them):

     1/8 6,192s 116.53mph

    1/4 9,628 141,27mph

I'm getting more comfortable on the bike and slowly getting to grips with handeling it.

Next race is the last week-end of June.

I'd have to zip tie my hands to the handle-bars...lol.  They need to teach a class for this stuff...Idea

    Justice:

I'd love to learn how to do that without watching my bike run away from me down the lane... LOL!!!

I've never run on a track, but when I rev to 2000-2500K and drop the clutch, the bike goes from stand still to light speed like a snap! I can't imagine dropping the clutch at full throttle... Wow!!

You guys got balls!!! I'd love to learn how to sit and spin the rear tire too. I'm getting new skins on Thrusday. It would be fun to spin off some smoke, before that...

    megawatt:

Getting the tire spinning by holding the front brake and twisting the throttle at the same time is kinda tricky the first time you try.

It really isn't.  Stand with both feet planted firmly, two fingers of the right hand on the brake lever, run it up to about 3000 and dump the clutch.  It is not near as hard as you might imagine.  As long as you don't hold it in one spot for real long burn outs you won't have any rubber to clean off of the fender.  I have seen some people learn how by putting the front wheel up against a building so there is no chance of the bike taking off on them.  This thing spins the rear so easily it really isn't necessary but if i makes you feel more comfortable the first time then give it a try.  While it's spinning you can play with the throttle.  Just don't let the RPMs get too low so it won't hook up on you.  Also make sure you have a good grip on the bars and are standing up straight.  Otherwise you'll find out how the guys are making the smiley faces!

When you guys coming back to Vegas?

Sh_t Howdy! How are you, how's Chris doing?
Yep, Mike's still an animal, some things dont change Cool
Imagine getting the chance to do a couple of runs on The Strip with the bikes we have now, that would be awesome!
I'll talk to Johan about Vegas, who knows, he just might be interested in some "assjuice" this fall LOL!

I have done a few slow rolling burnouts but never on the brake and throttle together. Maybe I'll give this a try at the track this weekend. I have to admit I'm not sure I want to learn because of the issue of it being addictive.

BURNOUT CLUB IS SWEET! lol Its really not that hard either, but CAUTION!!!!! it is ADDICTIVE!

Amen to that...not to mention a Warrior does a burn out about 10 times easier than most other bikes in the world...you just clamp down on the front brake and give it plenty of throttle....be sure to hold down tight on on the front brakes or it will take you with it..burn the tire til you feel like lettin off the throttle...just make sure you let off the throttle before you let off of the brake..lol... I've been thru so many damn tires from burning them out that its just fun anymore...screw the money, thats why I buy Shinko tires anyways... not to mention with a set of loud pipes on the bike it sounds like a beast when your rippin off rubber...look in my gallery and take a look at my brother doin a burn out on his warrior...ahhhhhhh good times....The worst time was when the wife and I had a couple of beers in us and decided to do a burn out with her sittin on the bike...can you say wheelie? oooh man we laughed our @$$'s off...anyways...thats my quick intro to burn outs....anyone around Tampa that wants to learn how to do one, let me know...I'll do a rollin burn out...a circle burn out...hell...all kinds off burnouts lol..

Once my bikes back together I'll do a youtube burn-out for rookies class and have my wife hold the camera. I'd do it now but my bikes in pieces.

Dont forget to lower your rear tire pressure.

    Re: 1/4 mile times

The best 1/4 mile time that I have gotten was 12.008@108.8 my 60foot was 1.64. I try to launch at 4k and feather the clutch if I just dump the clutch bike will stand up on me. I have the full stage iv kit with a PCS monster pro pipe and a usb3. I run a shinko ultra soft at the track 14psi. I need to get bike on dyno to be mapped after I think bike will run high 11.90s.

    Can you hear me now

What a blast i just got into running my bike at the track found out racing at a dragway isnt anything like the street Im addicted, what are you putting on your bike?Yes

    bmfwarrior:

I went to Dragway 42 in ohio last night to see what my bike would run before i put some new parts on it. My 1st pass was 13.3608 @98.25mph, i did not heat up my tire and could feel it spin all through 1st gear and it was my first time to the track in 2 years. My 2nd run was 13.3372 @97.35mph i heated my tire but it still spun it was around 10pm and miosture was building up in the air so that is why ithink my tire spun. my 3rd run was 13.7427 @96.82mph but i hit neutral on my way to second gear. my biggest problem was getting my feet back on the pegs after launching the bike, i was wondering if anybody on here has tried to launch with there left foot on the peg or in 2nd gear. my bike has a cobra 2to1 slipon and churchkey bak, next week it will have pc3 and hardchrome clasic straights, i will be back next friday if the weather is good to see what it does any predictions
