Damn Shag, great photo! My killboy pic looks like c-r-a-p.  When I arrived, I was alone and stuck behind 2 cars putting along at 10 mph so I just pulled onto the shoulder and talked with him for a few minutes.

Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his own brow?

Oh well, I got a couple of compliments and feel like I helped show that not all Harleys are slow like Steve did when he was up there.

It was great meeting you and dont sweat it, you were much better then most newbies that show up there, You get an A+ from me, just dont jam the straights as hard next time, Eyes though the turn, and you will carry more corner speed, keep the rubber side down and we will see you in April.

    Sushi_Biker:

Yeah, I'm really pushing to plan ahead so that I can come. I want to thank you all for making me feel welcome, and teaching me how to ride better. I appreciated everyone's patience and hopefully I improved as time went on. David especially, took time to talk to me and give me advice. Bill Moore was a total ringer. I thought he was sort of a newbie like me and it turns out he's been riding for years and even has his own dragon-like playground to ride in!

I think I have an idea of what I need to work on, so we'll see if I'm any better when April rolls around. Surprise

Great to meet you and Don this year.  I hope you two can get back there next April too.  Yes

Great meeting all you guys too.  Sorry we missed seeing Woody.  We are sure want to make it next year.  Great company and great riding.  We both want to make the Blood Mt run.

Yes   You better get back in April!!!!!  Nice to meet you.  Glad you didn't have to ride all the way back in the rain!  Those guys from Indiana (Smashmup821)  just rolled in at the wrong time for weather.  Stuff happens and I've had to sit out for a couple of days, because of rain, while I was there too.

Oh and good call having me pack all my crap and sleep in the bunkhouse the night before. I would have been wrestling with a nasty, wet tent at 6 am, in the dark and my bike would have been wet.

I woke up, showered, dressed, and rolled out on my dry, packed up bike. Couldn't have worked out better.Big Smile
