    My New Toy...

    Wotcha nobbers slobbers and flobbers!

    I just bit the bullet, and spent the kids inheritance (screw them they can go to work!!) and got this beauty...

     

    completely tricked up, this guy has the mod bug worse than most of us I think! It's loosely based on a Suzuki GSX1400 (which I had before). I got the itch to get another nekkid street-fighter type bike but was disappointed with most of what's around nowadays... then I saw this and it all went black and I hit the 'Buy' button...

    Check out the mods!!! Great googly moogly!!!

    Engine: Yoshi stage one cams.            DNA ‘pod’ filters (Dynojet’s own).            Akrapovic ¾ system with a custom G&G can – 300mm long, 60mm inlet.            Power Commander 3 Frame: Modified GSX1400 K3Completely de-lugged, headstock removed and lowered 50mm, rear subframe removed new one made to lower seat height and fit seat unit incorporating all the electrics.GSXR 1000 racing rear sets.Sand blasted and sprayed.Busa monoshock added Front End:            Forks – GSXR 1000 K5, anodised black.            Yokes – one off hand made to fit fork legs whilst keeping 1400 spindle, anodised black.            Wheel – GSX1400 with shortened spindle.            Callipers – GSXR 1000 K5            Brake lines – Goodridge (what else is there?)            Handle Bars – Renthal ‘Fat Bars’ with hand made risers anodised black.            Master cylinders / Switchgear / Clocks – GSX1400 Rear End:            Swinging arm – 2008 Hayabusa            Shock / wheel / disc / torque arm – Hayabusa            Calliper – GSX1400 sprayed yep you’ve guessed it – black            C&S – AFAM H/D chain and front sprocket, Renthal rear sprocket Bodywork:            Front mudguard – GSXR 1000Petrol tank – hand made one off 22ltr capacity, steel construction with internal anti corrosive coating             Seat – TL1000 R            Tail piece – R1 racing unit trimmed to fit, hand made undertray            Hugger – ebay specialElectrics:            Main loom – remade to hide as much as possible, using 3 standard looms to keep original wire colour ALL soldered joints, heat shrunk and loom taped, over 50 hours total            Ignition – GSX1400            Headlight – 2008 yamahahaha MT03            Tail light – Mad Doctor LED unit from Italy            Indicators – front MT03, rear Mad Doctor Paint:            Blackest 2 pack black 4x lacquer for depth (nightmare to try and photograph) Polishing / Plating:            Forks / yokes / risers anodised black            Exhaust Hanger – aircraft alloy - hand made one piece Engineering:            Yokes / risers / rear suspension mounts and lots, lots more all done by Pete at Liskeard Motorcycles, Cornwall

    Well..... to me it's about $7500....

    His costs are approx $20k in total over the entire build...

    Sucks to be a modder, and it's one of the reasons I won't let my Warrior go. It hurts the heart AND the wallet.

    LOL! That 'wing' let's the pigs charge me money for being 5mph over the limit...

    The dyno says 130bhp at the wheel. So... not astounding for a street fighter, but tonnes of torque from 2k RPM (something like 87lbs).

    Some machine fella, i'm watchin one on ebay at the mo, based on an R1 with alien front end, not as sensible as I was originally considering for a second bike, but what the hell!!
