Never addicted to anything until now...

    Hey All,

So here's the deal...  I have no expertise with the Warrior; I just bought mine about 3 weeks ago. I don't have any deep questions to ask, mine's running just fine. But nothing's had me as jazzed as this thing! I just find myself wanting to hang and bench race with other Warrior enthusiasts.

So with nothing to really contribute, I pound out this post, wondering what it is about this bike that's got me so hooked. And also, am I the only one, or are there others lurking on these boards who really have better things to be doing, but can't get their Warrior off their minds?

    Peace out,

    Steve

Wait for it...its gonna get better.

I love when I walk out of a store, head down texting and walk by a bike. I notice it in my peripheral and check it real quick. Look back at my phone then damn near break my neck thinking "that was a nice bike" as i glance back. Then you realize, THATS MY BIKE!

    Love that!

I bought mine all black with lots of chrome and not a name badge on her and people always have to ask what it is, usally because their H-D looks kinda pee-u-knee  next to the awesome Warrior. I love it. sometimes I just sit in the garage and star at it,(i disappear alot)

Hello, my name is Ed and I'm a Warrioraholic. Actually I have been addicted to many things, the last thing I kicked was Red Bull. When I first got the bike I told myself "I aint gonna dump a bunch of money on mods, I like it the way it is" That didnt last long. Maybe someday I will quit modding but I dont think I will ever be able to quit admiring the bike. Im going to the garage right now to check it out.

I set up a "smoking section" in my garage, so I can sit in there and look at my Warrior, while I  relax with a cigar.    Yes, I am a Warrioraholic.                                                            And can anybody say "Yager Bomb"  . Sorry antitech, I'm not off of the red bull yet.

I know the feeling. I have had my 02 since 03 and have pretty much held off the mod bug until this winter. Mine is sitting in my garage without a tank, so all I can do is look at it and think of more stuff to add to next winters mod list. It's driving me nuts! More so than I allready was. LOL Just like a kid with a new toy.

Ive had mine for over a year now and every day without fail i find myself daydreaming about riding it at work. When im at home i go out to the garage every hour or so to have a smoke and scrutinize every inch of it; walk around it to find the perfect viewing angle (for me its if you stand directly beind the bike, then move to your right about 2 and a half feet and back 1 ft. then crouch down and behold the glory that is bub jugghuggers.)  I could honestly say i think about my warrior more than i do about women.. maybe thats sad.. i dont care. I hope my obsession with this beast never dies.

Babe, its not a gut, its a gas tank for the sex machine.

I've had my Warrior for 4 years and done a bunch of mods and still more to come. I can't think of any other bike I would want to replace it with. It's too darn good.

I had to let my one go and I miss it!

Next time I will make an even better job of trying to turn it into my dream bike Big Smile

    Well, great...

    I'm not alone.

So the mod obsession issue came up ... while I was busy installing my NEW PCIII USB! And new K&N'sBig Smile

What a great mod. The previous owner was supposedly told that the Bub Jughuggers would be fine without it. Did it run? Yea. But with a lot of backfiring, and a hollow exhaust note that sounded more like a rod knock than anything. However nutZ I was about the bike before is nothin' compared to now! What a difference. And that's just with the downloaded map. A complete dyno tune and I might just move into the garage full time.

Re: Never addicted to anything until now...

    It's not getting any better...

My garage, oh baby. I used to feel this way ... a little ... with my sport bike. But now I walk into my garage and there sits:

    RF900r Suzuki
    Wife's S50 Suzuki
    Daughter's KT100/Arrow Kart
    My 125/Tony Shifter Kart
    93 300ZXTT 485HP track prepared two seater ...

and all I can look at is the Warrior. I tried to start the Z and the battery was dead! What is it with these things? I'm thinking of having it painted the color of crack cocaine.

    Peace out,

    Steve
