Maybe. I need to get up to the shop to see how they are doing on my chopper and Saturday is the only day I can get up to Woodstock.

Works for me, wife is wanting to go on a ride.  Hopefully, she will not be the only woman there.  Eric, tell your wife to ride her VStar and she will have company.

I know the voices aren't real, but they do have some good ideas.

I want to die while asleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.

Sounds like Woodstock might be on the route if we can get together.  I'm just along for the ride and friendship, not looking to go any place special. Just looking for a journey, not a destination (and no rain if possible).

Re: GA Riders - Anyone Still Out There?

Well I had just about a terrible day yesterday......I wanted to get those little blemishes out of my tank so I stopped by this guy I know whose good with paint and body well he told me the best thing todo is just give him the tank and repaint the whole thing and sand out the bad spots, he said the sooner you get it to me the quiker it'll get done........so I screamed home [on the bike]..and proceeded to remove my tank...as we all know there's probably half a gallon in the line steady flowing onto my cherry red header!!!!!...........I removed the tank....walked it out into my driveway .....turned around and phewshhhhhhh.....my bike erupted in a ball of flames!!!...[never been so freaked out in my life]....but after about 3 seconds I grabbed the water hose and played firefighter!....it took about 2-3 minutes to get tthe thing doused!....then about 2-3 hours to access the damage thank god nothing important....[as of yet].....just a melted horn..key..shrink wrap on wiring is really shrunk....and my little plastic mirror on my crankcase melted...glad for powder coating on the motor , just a little wax and it's all back together...but a close one, none the less! My paint guy said it'll be ready tomorrow so.....I guess i wont ride the bike to go get it!!Stick out tongue I put my old tank back on just in case so you guys don't worry I'll be there regardless!! As for my wife riding ....we have'nt tagged the bike due to the fact that we are trying to sell it...but that would've been cool!...Unfortunately we don't have the extra $120 for it ...As for the ride I am going to do some looking around on the maps and try to find some kind of cool little jaunt...[Mark do you need us to possibly meet up over on your side of town?]....if so then I'll get us there and since you are so knowledgeable of that whole area and I know you've got a hundred routes you could maybe decide a nice route?????Renfroe...I know you'll like those tires cause I am still riding on my burned up ones...so they will definitely take a licking....

    Dude,

Sorry about the fire, maybe next time you take the cigarette out of your mouth before unplugging the fuel line. LOL! Why don't you guys ride up to the shop (Kotic Kustoms) on Bells Ferry Rd in Woodstock from the ball game. He has a lot of cool bikes in various build stages to check out or just buy a T-Shirt, and I will plan a twisty route from there.Let me know.
