Re: GA Riders - Anyone Still Out There?

Looks like I will be working this Saturday (about 80% chance right now).  Sunday might be a better day to plan something.  I would like to ride with a couple of warriors to see if my butt dyno is telling the truth on my mods. Hard to tell when riding nice with the wife (never got about 70 mps this last weekend with her).  I now know why Eric rides the way the does (same mods), because he can.

I know the voices aren't real, but they do have some good ideas.

I want to die while asleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.

Wife is out of the country and coming back in Sunday evening around 8pm.  I think I might be available on Sunday, but am working on Saturday for sure.  I'll update on either late Friday or Saturday when my plans are more concrete.  I can give either Chris or Eric a call and see where we might be meeting up.  BTW Eric, I'm now running a speedstar pipe and a power commander V.  Might be interesting to see how the bike compare with the different pc's.

Sounds great. Since we have the whole gang do we want to run Fort Mountain? If so, I recommend that we meet earlier in the day, head up to Ellijay for lunch and then run the mountain twice.

Aww come on, I made up for it last time at the place that had 100 beers on tap and another 250 in the bottle! If we want to ride Ft. Mountain it will take close to an hour to get there from Marietta, so we should probably meet around 10:30 on Sunday morning to get up there around lunch time. That area gets slammed with bikers and antique hunters by noon on weekends. My suggestion is to meet at the Cigar World in Marietta which is right off of 75 N. Take exit 267A/Canton Rd off 75, then make your first right at the light onto Sandy Plains road and it will the first parking lot on your right. If this is too far we can do the route I set-up when we got rained out or someone else can create a plan.

I'm working Saturday 1-9.  Don't know yet about Sunday and a lot will depend on how wore out I am from working 70 hours this week (salary, wouldn't you know).  I'll give either Chris or Eric a call on Sunday.  How long of a ride do you have planned as I have to be back down at PTC around 6 pm to get the wife?  100 beers on tap, 250 in the bottle, and raining like a cow pissing on a rock outside.  I still have some mud I'm waiting for you to get off my bike.

Still sitting at work from noon today.  I get to leave shortly and come back to lock up after the place is finished being fumigated.  Looks like a late night for me, but I'll try to give either Eric or Chris a call tomorrow.

Count me out, just got back from work and I have a bad feeling that I will have to go back tomorrow (or today now) to get a forklift out of a pole.  Ride safe and watch out for the LEOs'.
