Yes they replace them when you mail them in for free. Mine too is only lighting up halfway again so mine will be going in again soon.  Honestly it doesn't bother me to send it in since i still have the stock one during the down time.

Maybe i could give you a ring this upcoming week to get some instructions on what you do to get yours replaced. I am not going to worry about it over the holiday weekend. I have my old one to fall back on and i am getting used to hand signaling so it will not be a big annoyance to send it in.

     Thanks guys!

Looks good Eric. I like the touch including the strip on the seat. That ties it all together nice.

They are letting me go home today. 13 days after the transplant. Hard to believe when they originally said 4 to 6 weeks. I still will have to come to the clinic each day for a while. If there are no complications or infections the visits will gradually decrease. Then it's just the gradual recovery from the transplant and the monitering to see if the cancer is cured. They tell me I might get back in the saddle by September depending on my blood counts and immune system. You can keep track of me on my Caring Bridge website. Karyn updates it frequently. www.caringbridge.org/visit/steveburke  Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. You can bet I'll let you know when they'll let me ride.  CoolYes

Hey I just wanted to tell all the beauty of riding a cruiser with 8 other sport bikes, 9 of us went up to duluth yesterday took back roads of coarse, in atkin county on  169 about 10 miles north of mille lacs lake and going up and down over the hills came a county sheriff. Before I tell you the speeds, I just want to say I alyways ride in the back ,1 I dont want to hold up anybody and 2 this is the exact situation ive thought about in the back of my head. As the group crests the hill comes 2 vehicles, The first a pickup second a impala county sheriff at this point I was only going 65 I know that for sure, The second I saw him I slowed down to 60 and held there even though the speed limit is 55. He turned around in a hurry, lets put it this way I saw break lights than alot of dirt dust whaterever else that was on the shoulder at this point the rest of the group has maybe 1/4 mile lead on me. He got up behind me and flipped on the lights so I slowed down and pulled over, ZOOM he goes flying bye and gets up to the rest of the group and they all pull over and I just keep on going. a long story short one guy gets arrested and his busa gets thrown on a flatbed, And the 8 of them , each of them gets a ticket for 380 for going 91 on a 55 but I know for a fact the 3 or 4 guys that were a head of me were no going more than 75 for sure, My good buddy was one of the one in front row he said he was 74, So there all going to fight it but anyways that is another reason im glad i never got a sport bike.

Good for you man. You know, the cops have been out in force this year. I saw a State Trooper bike cop had a car pulled over in Brooklyn Park. The cop was on a Harley, looked like a Street Glide. In 15 years I've lived in MN, I've never seen a bike cop here. Then the next day, I was turning out of my parking lot onto Lexington and there goes two St Paul cops on bikes. Looked like CHIPS. Gotta be careful out there boys. Your money is better off in your pocket and not theirs.

I passed a mn state trooper @ 105 mph yesterday on I 94 & he never even tapped his brakes so neither did I.   :)

Passed him?  Wow!  What cojones!  I don't often pass cops. I don't like to entice them to follow me......

I just realized that it is mid July and I have not been on any group rides, with the exception of after june's first thursday. I realize weekends are tough, but we should try to find a weekday night that is supposed to be nice and go for one. I remember the one that John, Mike, Don, Dan, Dan's buddy and i went on last year to Northfield was a really good time. I am pissed i gotta miss the drag day this weekend, but i have a wedding friday and a bachelor party in Breezy Point on saturday night that will keep me away. What days usually work best for people?

+1 - this weekend is packed with the AMA Motocross Nationals down in southern MN.  If anyone is looking for a fun desitination - Spring Creek Motocross is Saturday at noon!

Swanny - throw a date out and a central meeting spot and lets see who can make it!  Even though I commute on my bike so it gets a lot of miles - I haven't got very many pleasure miles on it this year.  That might be because Jonathan and I have really started dirt bike riding a lot more this year than the last couple!

Remember that government spends money only by taking that money out of the private economy. Put another way, when government taxes a dollar to “create” a job, it has taken a dollar out of the private economy that is no longer available to the private economy.

Any day during the week works for me. I remember that one time last year we met at a bar behind the MOA. That would work for me again.  Next thursday the 23rd looks alright now on the 10 day forecast so maybe we can throw that out.

Sounds like i gotta head up to the shop one of these days if you guys are riding the dirt bikes. I have only riden one once and it was a bit too powerful for my riding experience at that time.

The next couple of weeks are kinda full, but my daughter's softball will be over by 1st Wednesday at Yarusso's in a couple of weeks.  We could go for a ride that night, or that Thursday.
