Bill or Scott, I have an order in for rear peg relocators which is going to Tom. If you want to drop the bolts that Mike and Tom have been talking about in the box that will be great.

Thanks Lemming that's okay with me.  MSSS-Scott/Bill in the event Yami charges for the correct bolt - since we can't affordably return the incorrect bolt - please let me know because as promised I'll cover the bolt price no problem.  Mike

    1. Is there any update on this bolt thing while I was gone?!!

    B. Bill, the replacement v-star fender tip fit perfectly and the old one went back to you as promised - thank you.  Not to put too fine a point on it but I have to say you've obviously been around bikes a long time and your knowledge is refreshingly similar to MSSS/Scott's so you made this solution fast and painless.  IMO there's even more reason today for me (and many many others) to continue recommending MSSS for every purchase possible.  We are lucky to have you folks on-board.  Thank you.

Thanks for the comments, believe me they are appreciated !!!!  The bolt actually arrived yesterday and before shipping it I wanted to be sure as to which mirror it was for. The bolt is for the left mirror assembly as it has right hand threads. The Yamaha label shows "RH" so I am wondering if they have possibly mislabeled these bolts. I beleive you were needing the bolt for the right mirror,is that correct? Anyway I am in contact with Yamaha and will let you know what's going on as soon as i know something. Thanks Again, Bill

Yo Tom chiming in [the to be owner of said bolt here in blighty - this bolt will have some stickers on his suitcase!!] - boy this has been a huge saga for a small bolt!! - the adapter bolt is for my RH mirror and it's ment to be a reverse thread bolt, so ignore packaging if the thread points down to the right bottom corner were laughing - i have 2 spare left handers [normal thread] if you ever run out!!! Big Smile - you're right to question the packaging on these for awhile - thanks again everyone ....the list of names is getting to be quite long [sounds like someone won an oscar!]

Evening Tom,  I located a right hand mirror and "borrowed" the mounting bolt from it so that you would finally get the correct bolt. I checked it prior to shipping it and it has left hand threads so you should be good to go now. I shipped it today, let me know if you encounter any other problems and THANKS for your patience, Bill

Got the shipping notice from Bill while I was in DC. So it should be here at the house today along with your relocators Tom.

Yeah Im only just got teeny tiny scrarches on the forearm.

The bad was I slide on the dirt road.

The good news was that the ground was so soft I was able to pull my leg out from the bike,

I read somewhere the special ends on Oct?
