    Cylinder head temp gauge.

Sorry if this has been covered before but couldn't find any info in a search. I want to install a cylinder head temp gauge on my bike for easy reference. Would prefer a dual gauge to cover both cylinders. Has anyone done this? Who makes a gauge suitable for motorcycle use. I prefer an analog gauge. What would be considered a "normal temp" for our cylinder heads to be at. Thanks all.

They run around 200 to 220 degrees. I check my temps with the on board diagnostics.

If you stop and activate the diagnostics on the odometer by turming off then on while holding both reset and select for 8 seconds then release and press again for about 2 seconds the DIA mode comes up. Cycle through with left button to code 5 shows intake temp, code 10 is oil temp and code 11 is engine temp. (eng temp is cylinder temp)

Thanks Churchkey. I was aware of obtaining the readings in the DIA mode (although didn't have a reference for "normal temps")). I was hoping to install this gauge for monitoring on the left side motor mount where I removed the scoop and AIS plumbing. Any suggestions?
    Much thanks.

I have checked my readouts against a hand held digital pyrometer. Oil & engine temps are within 1% of the hand held gauge. Air temp always reads about 10 to 15 degrees warmer than actual temps even if the bike has not been started.

EDIT: here's a couple of links to gauge co's maybe you can find something to your liking there. BTW, check the gallery, I think Frankenstein has a number of gauges on his machine.
