    new guy

'04 warrior, following mods  : Star stilheto(sic) seat, PCIII, Samson Shorties exhaust,Thunder Tornado air box. Very loud, neighbors hate it, I love it.

I see alot of AIS blocks. How does this effect performence, economy, etc. Appreciate any response.

Welcome to the 4m!  I have an '04 and stilletto seat, too.  My AIS is still intact, but blocking it reduces the backfires and most haven't seen a decline in economy.

AIS= air injection system...it pumps some fresh air into the exhaust to burn off any remaining hydrocarbon fuel to reduce emissions...it "may" reduce popping....but it is often done because it is part of the BAK (big air kit) mod.
