What would you sell it for?

Well Im looking to sell my warrior to make room for another steed. Wish I had enough money to keep the warrior then buy another but that's not the way it works out. So I was wondering what you think I should price the bike at and what I can realistically get for it.

2002 warrior, 4,700 miles, full hardchrome exhaust, billit yami risers and flat bar, yami grips, and billit mirrors not pictured, new paint, normal wear and tear with a coupl chips on the gas cap and rear fender stays. Thinking like $ 5,800 or so?

Clean looking bike. I would start at $7K and see where it goes from there.

Wow, 7 grand huh. I would love to get that much for it but I just don't think it would happen. Maybe around $6,400 to start it out. Ya?

These bikes hang on to their resale value fairly well.  I would go ahead and start out with an asking price of 7k and be willing to deal alittle bit.  There are many members on here who purchased their used bike for the same and some even higher.

Hmm, well that's kinda encouraging I guess. I'm in no hurry really but just hungry for a bike that I've always lusted after, the RC51. Still a twin though. I'll have to see what others have gone for on like ebay or something and then try craigslist. Thanks for your replys

What was your mileage on trade in if you don't mind me asking? Also, what did you trade it in for?

I don't know about 7 but I'd think it would sell too quick at only $5,800.  I think you'd be looking good at $6400 or even $6600 to start, especially if you're in no hurry.  Good luck, it's nice looking.

It must depend on your location.  Here, you can barely give the damn things away.  I have sold 2 in the past 2 years and resale for a Warrior isn't good in this area.

The dealership where I bought mine had a used 04 with 33k on it with some mods nothing major, just the usual stuff, and they had it listed for $7300, I bought my new 07 in 08 for 9500.  I realize that 7k is just over half of MSRP but it doesnt seem to get much less that that in this area, that is to say I havent seen one for less that about 6200.  Saw one listed on Ebay for 5700 it had been in a very slow speed slide and it sold for 6300.  \

How bad IS the resale in your area?

Wow... nice looking bike. And I recently saw an ad in Craigslist with a guy looking to trade his RC-51 straight up for a warrior. I considered but thought I would miss this bike too much. However, the ad has disappeared already...

I'm so happy I can't even feel my arms!

Thanks for the input. I think I'll put it up for $6200.00 and that seems like it's right in the middle and pretty fair.
