I was wondering if you could add this link to the listings?

Side Cover - Custom - Right Side

    http://rswarrior.com/forums/t/133282.aspx

I have 20 that are still available for sale at the moment. This will more than likely be a limited production run.

I really appreciate the time and effort that you have put in to this thread. I have never seen anything as extensive as this before. You've done an outstanding job!!!

Gavs got a bulb type rear light too . . . so your'e not alone.

He has done a really nice mod on his to fit his cut down rear fender . .very tidy.

I had not realised that style of light existed 'till I saw his!

You are not alone bro: http://rswarrior.com/forums/t/2815.aspx

Plus now you can post in the Model Year Differences post and be the 'confirming member' on this point!

    Go to:  http://rswarrior.com/forums/t/16547.aspx

All Official European bikes may have: Two headlight bulbs, non-LED tail light (some Timoken
with a red lens), e-approved separate front signals and running lights, turn signals
do NOT auto-cancel, different horns, systems meet Euro-emmissions.

This point has been annotated into Popular Mods for Aug09.

    Keeping this separate on purpose.

how does this affect led mods at rear for the future?

Excellent question.  Since there's no blink-rate on the brake/tail light the LED swap should still be good to go.  Unless the factory did something via the ECU to monitor current as a method of making sure the bulbs are working, in which case you'd need a matching resistance for each bulb.  That seems unlikely to be needed.

You might compare your mounting trim rings and fasteners to see if the bulb-type tail light ass'y is the same in both models.  Heck you'll be on your back in Germany after hoisitng a few so while you're scattered out there on the bricks outside the pub just look up underneath one of the other guy's fenders and see what's what Stick out tongue j/k.

I forgot that someone asked me to add this link - until I was reminded today when I was reading a post - and I though "oh sh(^" - so here it is.

Jump to Topic "Drive-In Motorcycle Cover"
    1. http://www.cycleshelter.com/

It will go in with the other requested changes in the Aug09 update next week.

Squeezing in one more - okay I re-organized the PC3 section (under the ECU heading) and added the Dynojet link to their powercommander website so we can jump right to the downloads page for the PCIII-Serial and the PC3USB.

BTW the PC3-Serial section has on-screen instructions for how to get the PC3-Serial software to auto-locate an available .COM port on your computer.  I did not know this, and didn't see any posts on this tidbit, so I'm figuring maybe it will be helpful to all the members who buy bikes that already have an old PC3-Serial unit installed.

Dr. Tom, yes I know what you mean Smile sometimes I catch my thumb wandering up there like its bored, and pressing the signal-off button while I'm riding.  Its such an unconscious motion after years of riding its sorta funny!  Same as you, on bikes that have it stock I'm a great fan of keeping the auto-cancel function I think its one of the best safety devices out there.  But I still bump the off-button like you.

Yes I saw Timo's post, and a bushel of others these last months.  Its clear that bikes in the EU have some different equipment and it would be great if members riding these bikes would chime-in and maybe we can figure it out.  One of my big drivers on this topic is the possibility we will discover a factory mod done to meet a specific countries laws that will also give us insight into some of the undocumented systems and features.  Who knows what we can learn just by asking around!
