Rinehart or Wicked Brothers?Just ordered the Cobra.

Time for a new exhaust and Im down to these two finalists. Both are approx the same price. Opinions please.

I have found a set of discontinued Rineharts flush mount .

Also I like the look of the Wicked bros Cobra 2 into 1 with heatsheilds.

I love the Rinehart Flush Mount (didn't realize they were discontinued), but the Wicked looks great and looks as if it wouldn't scrape as soon. Also it is more unique. My vote is for the Wicked.

Thats what I like about it too. Most say the Rineharts scrape a little too soon. The only drawback is it takes about three weeks to get.

With heatsheilds the Cobra is $700 and the Rinehart is about $750

Well I'm very biased but...RINEHARTS!  Yes they scrape, but the sound and look will put a big smile on your face.  Here's some new Rineharts for $490 shipped:

And as I'm sure you know, Riney flush cuts aren't really as long as they are in that pic.

Those pipes look a little discolored or is it just the pic?

I like the Rineharts for looks.  But the 2 into 1 may give you more power, not sure if the Rineharts are actually into 1 like the Big Shots?

Looks like it's just the pic to me.

davidd, Riney's don't have the crossover like Big Shots.  They are true 2's with stepped headers.  So compared to the PCS that messx03 had before (that' what you had right?) there should be less power.

Yes , I had the PCS. You think I'll loose power with the Rines? If thats the case Im ordering the Cobra.

Unless the PCS was a real shitty design, you'll almost always lose power when you go from a 2-1 setup to a 2-2.  But, the Cobra might not put out the same numbers as the PCS either (my guess is it won't).  I don't know...*** numbers, your butt dyno is more important if ya ask me.  I said Rhiney's cause I have 'em and love 'em, but the Cobra's pretty cool too cause you don't see 'em much; pretty unique.

Randy,I have Rinehart flushes,Propipe,& Holeshot.Holeshot gives most power. You will lose a slight am't of power with 2/2 .That being said,I went back to Rineharts for the look & sound.I also installed Thunder baffles & sound is even better.See Darkstars posts re: Rineys & baffles. If your bike is lowered Rineys will drag bigtime on right hand curves. One reason I went with TAR.When you have Jeff riding "***" w/you Rineys wiil drag even more.Stick out tongue

Wow a 2 into 1 that actually looks good, I like it a lot. When I initialy read the post I was going to say Rhiney's myself. They're a good design as 2 into 2's go, with the stepped header design. But I do like the look of that Cobra.
