    Memorial Ride - Sheboygan/Manitowoc

Hello Everyone - just an FYI about and upcomming memorial ride.  The ride is in remembrance of Erik Pfeifer, the cousin of one of my riding buddies.  Here's a copy of the email my buddy sent out:

Some of you might already know about this… My cousin, Erik Pfeifer, was killed while riding his Harley by a drunk driver 5 years ago in Cleveland, WI. He was 23 years old and was a new father to a beautiful baby girl, Blair. For the past five years his mother (my aunt) has been arranging a memorial ride in his honor that I’ve been attending. The ride starts in Cleveland and snakes through country roads in Sheboygan County, including a nice scenic ride through Kettle Moraine area. In past years we’ve had somewhere around 200-250 bikes in the ride. It ends up at Hoban Brothers Cycles, a small Harley shop in Newton, WI where Erik worked as a mechanic, where all the riders are treated to a very nice brat fry. I would love it if any of you might be available and want to come and join me on this ride (byob – riding *** on my V-Strom is not an option). The cost is $10 in advance, or $15 on the day of the ride. All the proceeds go towards a scholarship in Erik’s name at LTC, a local tech college.  They will also be selling t-shirts that will have a memorial to Erik on the back and a Hoban Brother’s logo on the front. The cost is $10/shirt and the deadline for ordering those is by August 3rd.  Thanks,

    Rob/SL
