The lady has a hot foot.

I'm sure this subject must have come up before, but I was unable to find it through the search function.  I have an '06 Warrior with Bub Jug Huggers pipes and Yammie passenger peg relocators.  My problem is complaints of a warm right foot from the ladys who ride on the back.  They all have been wearing heavy, lug soled boots.  The right passenger peg gets too hot to hold your hand around after a hundred and twenty miles or so.  I assume the heat from the pipes is conducted through the rear pipe mount to the frame and then the peg mount to the peg.  Has anyone else had the same problem?  If ya have, did ya come up with a fix for it?

    As I'm sure you are all aware . . . . . "If mama ain't happy, you ain't happy."

Thanks in advance for any ideas or suggestions.

The relocation kit puts her foot very close to a very hot oil tank!

Duh!  I completely forgot about the oil tank.  Thanks

That was a case of not being able to see the forest for the trees. LOL  I knew that the back of my right calf gets hot from the pipe so my mind just assioated heat with pipe.  If ya look at the right side peg straight on it's very clear where the heat is coming from.  When she said her foot was getting warm.  I felt the peg and it was hot, so I thought that was it.  It's the SIDE of her foot that was hot, she didn't say that at the time.  My feeble mind needs all the hints and help it can get.  Oh well, I know now.

would an oil cooler help your lady's foot problems?  20 degrees is 20 degrees might just be enough

If you are not part of the solution then you are part of the precipitate

Thanks for the suggestion,as all are welcome.  I was thinking passenger floorboards.  Some nice big ones.  That way mama could perhaps position her pretty little booted foot further away from the oil tank by another inch or two.  Does anyone have experience with such?
