Here's an improvement to side reflectors for those of us in certain states who don't want to remove them. For the front we used Show Chrome LED's that are clear lenses and glow amber when riding. They look incredibly nice at night but it didn't show up in picures very well so I'll try again in a few days. In the rear on my Beast I used clear LED's that glow red, but they died too soon and I have installed these. I'm still searching for this configuration bright single red LED's that look completely white when off. In the meantime here's Casino's Spirit750 and my Beast.
LED is actually glowing amber but it doesn't show in this picture:
LED is glowing red (you can hardly see the red tip inside when its off):
LED is not glowing and reflector is completely white:
For the Warrior, the fronts fit right onto the front reflector brackets and the rears fit into the signal holes in the Yamaha rear fender eliminator - notice I have the top half of the bracket mounted but not the pesky bottom half (but it works either way).
For the Wife's Shadow Spirit I took about an hour messing around with locations then did a cardboard layout of the mount shape needed considering where we thought the lights would look the best, and where they would cause the least amount of maintenance obstruction. Then I copied it onto a sheet of 1/8" stainless and cut two mounting brackets using my dremel and like three freaking cutting wheels. Then half an hour on the grinder to clean them up, drill the holes and onto the bike they went. I'm finally getting the hang of the dremel. The Wife loves the front LED's. She says they are 'classy' and it makes her smile. Mission accomplished.
