    Bucky,

The mini floor boards were on my Warrior when I bought it...I have given thought to changing them out for some sort of peg, but they are so comfortable, I just didn't feel that I would get the same riding comfort out of pegs.

Hey...what do you plan on putting in that air box space on the right side? I know a guy that makes a hell of a faux chrome dual intake.Wink

Looks good Tim. Can't wait to see what you have planned for the right side.

Love the risers and the stripes. Not fond of the sissy bars on warriors. I told my fiance to just hang on. Devil

    Re: New parts installed

Yor bike looks good brother. The lowering links work out pretty well. Fairly easy and quick to adjust. Not quite sold on the mini floor boards but then again my Warrior is more of a short distance ride so pegs are fine. Anything longer than 100 miles round trip and the Venture comes out of the garage.

     Thanks!!

It is a little bit of a pain in the butt to adjust .But i have only adjusted it once, and i have left it alone!  The mini floor boards when on because I have 13 boots. And i am taking the ole' warrior on a 2400 mile road trip that will only last 5 days!! CANADA HERE I COME!!

I am also not blessed with having a secondary bike...

Looks good Tim!!...the blue just  screams in the sunlight!Cool You wear size 13? Cool.,...I had the mini boards on as well, but I wear 14's!! They were good, but when I switched to the Barons Enferno rider boards, the foot positioning was much better and they are adjustable as well. Too bad it took almost 6 months for them to come though, various delays and a production change, etc. I love them though!!

What mirrors do you have and how did you attach them to the  Yamaha grips? Are they Rizoma's? Or something else?

Where in Canada are you headed anyway?

I'm not riding....I'm wrestling with Personal Demon #41.

Thanks,  I have a buddy that has those boards. They are nice!

The mirrors are motrax mirror, bascially a cheaper version of CRG's. They are about $50.00 for the set. They way i have them mounted:

I have a Steel tube welded inside my handle bars. Then the mirrors just clamp onto the steel tube. I had to drill a hole through the end of the grips to get them to work. But it works really slick, and since they are convexed I can pretty much see everything, no blind spots.

I am going up the missippi all the way to Lake Superior and then around lake superior in to Ontario, then down the coast of Lake michigan and through indiana, illinois and back to iowa.  All that in 5 days! Should be a good trip. The other guy i'm going with is doing it on a CBR 929!!!

    Re: New parts installed

You have a great looking bike Bucky and I know how comfy those Mini Floorboards are. Even that small touch of having the white letters on your tires. Did you do that or did they come that way? Also what did you use for passenger pegs?

    Thanks for the compliments!

The white letters i used a white tire paint marker. It is cracking a little bit from the tire flexing. But it is hold good.

The passenger pegs are iso duallys. I have heard they wouldn't stay put with the friction mount, but mine are holding strong!
