Ok, so here is the plan, been in contact with a few buddies and we planned a ride on July 17 to: www.theriverwalkpub.com  (sorry oldmaxer about the 31st)  I still hope to see you on the 17th.  Anyone coming from the southeaster part of the state let me know and we will hook up.  The event starts around 6pm.  Planning on a afternoon ride up getting some food and hanging out at the pub after.  Let me know if anyone wants to hook up before otherwise see you there.

being that it is about a 2 hour ride from ocon. are you planning to take a side shot. or grip and rip the hwy?  I am game either way.... and it would be cool to get a few more people to go, i may have a couple more guys from the area, that may or may not tag along.

we are going to side shoot on the way up and depending on time, rip the hwy way home.  I know this is a Thur. some of the guys are doing 1/2 days at work and we'll take off in the afternoon.  Times not set yet.

The dells is still on .  The lake may be gone, but roads are still there.. Hope to see everyone there.

I probably can't make the ride, but nice to see a couple guys that are local! I'm in North Prairie, a little south of Delafield.

Hey guys, Ilive about 15-20 minutes from the Dells. I've never been to River Walk Pub. But I could meet up with you. Or if you didn't know Edge o' the Dells   campground has Thursday Night Thunder every Thursday Night starting 5p.m.  It's Bikes, Classic Cars, Live Band, Burn Out Pit. It's quite a party. Its on Hwy. 12 just north of the Dells. Exit 85 off the I-system. So I'll see you at River Walk or Let me knew if you want to go to Edge o' the Dells.

Dang - I just saw this thread!  Bummer my bike is in parts now getting some custom stuff done, otherwise me and the crew would join you guys!  Oh well, I should be able to put her back together by the weekend of the 20th so perhaps we can do this again next time!  You guys can scout out all the good roads on this one! lol!

That's a bummer, Vladens and I just got back from the Dells. It seems like I end up at Riverwalk Pub almost every weekend =)

Riding by Dells is pretty sweet and there are lots of windy roads. We ended up riding out to Devil's lake, and the roads there were amazing but half way through everything was flooded.

 To all going to the Dells coming from the south this is the route we are looking at taking.  We are leaving from Wells St Tavern located at 505 Wells St. in Delafield @ 2pm.  Causal ride up and Hwy home.  Should be a good ride lots of things to see.  Oldmaxer look forward to meeting you and if the Pub is dead we can always hit the other place you were talking about.  Any questions feel free to PM me.  Also please respond so I have an idea of how many of us there will be.  I have 4 riders in my party.

I noticed you have HWY 113 on your directions. You will want to avoid part of that as it has been ripped apart by the June flooding. The only thing you would need to avoid will be continuing on 113 past the point where it DL turns off to the left again. Make sure and take that left and than follow DL to HWY123 and that will take you into Baraboo then turn right on Business 12 take that to HWY 33 turn right go 2 blocks to East st. and turn left.

You have a pretty scenic route planned hope the weather works out and look forward to meeting you at the pub.    Matt

Oh Duh! I just realized Cty A is on your route. You can follow that to Moon rd. turn left go to Hwy12 turn right follow that all the way through Lake Delton to WI.Dells. Just trying to help out I'm sure you can figure this out on your own. With the flood damage in the area around here we have to think more about how we are going to get somewhere than we are used to.
