My first full detail on my bike. Pics and details inside :) *pics fixed*

Well had a beautiful day today 79 degrees.  So I decided to give my warrior its first full detail.  I picked the bike up last August and it needed a good cleaning.

I got pretty much everything from autopia.org.  Great website for products and tips.  I did everything by hand for a couple reasons.  First reason is because I didn't have a PC.  Second reason I wanted to see how good I could get it done by hand.  I have listed the Items used and in order of use.

This is the list for the painted parts

    • Sonus Gloss Shampoo
    • Sonus Detailing Clay
    • Sonus SFX-1 Restore (knocks down swirls)
    • Sonus SFX-3 Final Finish  (gives it a nice glossy finish)
    • Klasse All in One (paint cleaner)
    • Klasse Sealent Glaze  (paint sealer)
    • s100 carnuba wax

    Other Items used

    • Eagle One Neverdull (used on all the chrome)
    • Pig Spit (used on all the non painted black pieces and frame)

I went with a lot of the Sonus products from Autopia.org because they came in a nice starter kit.  The s100 and Pigspit I got from the local harley shop (harley is actually good for something Wink)  And the neverdull I got from local auto shop.  I thought it turned out pretty good.  Definitly would have busted out a few of the scratches better if I had been using a porter cable but im happy.  Heres the results.  And thanks for looking.

Looks great man! I also did mine this weekend, it looked like it wasn't washed in over a year (I picked it up in January and it looked rough then). I also gave it the full detail, minus the black on the motor (need to get some s100). It is great what a claybar and some polish does to the paint!

Your bike looks better than the new bikes on the dealer floor.
