There has been a significant amount of request from members that would like for me to do another run of these patches. I am willing to do this, but I need a minimal of 50 folks who are willing to place an order. Pay Pal Payment Method Preferred, Check or Money Order address provided through Private Message.

Cost....$12.50 per patch, includes over sized envelope & shipped!

Information on Patch. It is 5 inches in diameter. Great for the back of a vest, coat, shirt, whatever.

Forum Signature Rules

The original rules were put in place in 2002 and it time for an update. Here they are:

The maximum overall size for signatures is still 175 pixels high by 700 pixels wide - this includes text and images.

Image file sizes should be no larger than 75KB. Smaller is preferred as we need to be mindful of our members on dial up access (do they stille exist?).

Below is an image depicting the maximum size for signatures. Are YOU overcompensating for a much smaller problem?

Inappropriate content includes;

Too large, or file size exceeds recommended size.
Pornographic, violent or otherwise offensive images, language etc. This may include racist remarks, slander etc...
If the avatar/signature is overly distracting, eg. bright flashing colors, animated sigs (i.e. GIF's/Flash)
Audio. These are distracting for our members, so do not have audio in your signature.
Do not link to pages that contain objectionable material. This includes pornography, pyramid schemes, referral ID's, ebay listings and requesting donations.
Your signature may not advertise a commercial venture. Rswarrior has its own advertising, this is the only acceptable (commercial) advertising on Neowin. This has been an issue lately. Staff are aware of it and will take action against any offending signatures we may see.

Signatures will start to be removed/edited by the Administration if they do not comply with the above rules.

New Rules for Sellers on RSWarrior

Well, not really new. We are just enforcing the existing ones....

Currently we have several , valid site vendors.They are the only ones with a "Site Vendor" badge under their names and the only ones who have the right to advertise and/or sell their products or services on this site. Everyone else who is advertising and/or selling products or services on rswarrior is breaking the rules. Site administration has let this go for a little while, but he is cracking down on it now and the free ride will soon be over.

Warrior Parts and Accessories is not the place to be selling your fabricated parts that you've made multiples of to sell for profit. To do the latter, you need to be a site vendor.

As some of you have noticed I did not start a WOM for July (as of yet). There will be some changes in the future. It may have a bug or to in it at the start but I feel that it is moving in a new and exciting direction. Sean has talked to me and gave me what he had invisioned WOM would be like after the format change had happened but with limited time on the hands of all of our moderators it wasnt able to roll out.

Now for my side of things, Sean will allow me to keep on keeping on but I need your help. I do not have moderator authority so please follow the rules. Now the rules, I will ask for a sticky to be posted stating what the rules are. We used to have this but during the transition they have been lost along the way. That way everyone knows and there shouldnt be a problem. Lastly this is members voting for fellow members, I wish with the 16k+ members we had more voting/nominations, to be nominated in its self brings a lot of pride. I have seen members win that didnt sink thousands of dollars into their bike, they invented and stretched the imagination of what we thought could be done. With more members in the mix we can see some bikes that are fantastic come out of the woodwork like never before.

Warrior of the Month back in action.

Like you I have missed our Warrior of the Month. With work, families and busy lives it has been hard for our moderators to keep up with the forum at times.

I will be taking over the Warrior of the month unless otherwise told not too by our host and moderators. We have votes still standing for August and September and the voting for those months is closed. I will post the winners today for those months off the collective vote placed during that time. We will also catch up to were we need to be on our voting and past months so keep an eye out for them.

The winners will need to send me a photo of their bike so it can be added to the forum and any other future projects ( promoting the forum, calenders ). I will IM my personal e-mail address so we can have clear high resolution images of our winners. Please keep in mind this is a family friendly forum and any images will have to be approved by the host and/or moderators.

I hope that I will have your support in this project.

I am well aware that the latest Wom contest "It isn't over yet", so it's a perfect time to make comments. This is "MY OPINION only", OK. First off i am a new member. This is one of the best forums out there and it works so well for us because of all of the hard work that a few people are willing to do for everyone's benefit . Kinda like everything else in the world, so thanks to the few who do it. I noticed by looking back on other WOM contest's that the participation is telling........ I don't see that all realize that when you are nominated, that you get the instant recognition of your fellow Warrior owners and piers who all take pride in what they ride, so it's no small thing to be nominated. I know we all get busy, but to be one of the "chosen" and then to disappear from future WOM contest and not to participate in the next one by even taking a little time to vote or even more so to congrad the the winner, says something about what it means to you. Listen, I myself miss the big picture as much as the next guy so no judgment here, but to not vote after this recognition, is "to me" a little like saying that it's insignificant. It isn't ! It would be nice to say thanks to the few who do the work to put these things together and make it all work buy at least participating in it once you have been nominated. That's the least we could do. I know that as I write this on the 5th that in two more days we will have a new champ picked by the rest of us. I hope that the winners and those nominated feel as grateful and thankful as I do for those who voted for me in the last competition, and those who took their time to put this WOM contest together. If it would cease to be, I know that there would be flood of "WHERE IS THE WOM CONTEST" posts by those who take their time to notice that it is missing now that it is "GONE DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST". I may have opened up a can of worms here, but as I said it is only "my opinion" and you know what they say about opinions. Once again a big well deserved THANKS to those who work so hard to make this forum so good, and, Oh by the way, once again, for those of you who voted for me in the Feb/Mar. contest. Help for posting a gallery/ photos of my bike

First off I am NOT a keyboard jockey. I just bought a MAC and am learning to use it. I did manage to put my photo in my box but did it from my desktop. I wanted to post a bike gallery and am not able to do it. I think someone needs to set me up with a folder or something. I do not understand a lot of the terminology used by most people when they are trying to help me. Can someone tell me how to do it in simple terms that even I can understand? Thanks Zipper

Why is it so hard to find a way to report a post to moderators? I was trying to find a way to report a spammer to all the moderators to get his account shut down but I can't seem to find the "alert moderators" button......I know I used to be able to do it...I gave up.

Not interested in the "Anything goes" stuff or anything eles not related to the Warrior and motorcycles in general. If not possible, could we have a setting where you could choose what one wants displayed? Just venting and suggesting...

Thanks to the many of you who have politely helped me behind the scenes since you noticed I started having problems with the accuracy of some data in some of my posts. You are true gentlemen and I appreciate it. I'm thinking its obvious there have been good days and bad days. I know that with very very few exceptions I have been blessed to be supported by nearly everyone, especially a solid number of guys that have helped me in more ways than you know, both on the boards and behind the scenes. As long as I can ride, and work on the bikes in the garage, I'll remember it. That being said, the time has come to retire from the site and watch from the sidelines for awhile as all you newer bad-boys step up to the plate with your awesome new ideas and techniques. Give 'em hell! Come spring I'll update my gallery with sunny-day pics so you know I've kept the soul of my Warrior. Maybe I'll post a few pics of our other bikes too, wifey is having some fun with her big bad scoot. Be well my friends.

I was suckered into doing the laundry yesterday, but to my surprise I was paid for my suffering lol. As I pulled the clothes out of the washer, there sat some of that beautiful green stuff that we all love so dearly. Anywho.... I just acquired some $ that the wifey doesn't know about and figured now is my chance to become a supporter.

My question is... Which moderator do I donate to? Do the moderators handle different parts of the site? Is there even a way to decide or is it just who ever I feel like donating to?

This isnt subtle at all. I know friends that would never ask for anything but sometimes you have to give it them anyway. Dan (dangunman) would be one of those people. I know he would have to be missing some work right now being with Mag's and he needs his check just like the rest of us. This was the best I could come up with and doing this in secret leaves a lot of members out that our friends with Dan that may not get contacted. I hit my bike friends up and have started a collection for him. I've noticed that 2 posts are always on top of the Warrior General Discussion forum: "Model Year Differences....." and "URGENT: Stock Chrome Puley...". Why is that?

Is ot just my settings? There are no new posts to either for months. I'd prefer to see new topics on top, not old stale ones. How does that work?
