Here we have a fine example of how site member "Yabhoa", now has to travel light due to the restrictions of storage on a sports bike.

He's adapted well to the situation and appears to have found the ideal solution on what to wear when you go to a rally.

It provides cover, it's bright enough to be seen (very important on the road and at night), it could also be used as a sling if the need arises to hunt down food.

Most importantly is amuses the F**K out of his fellow campers.

I must be getting old. I thought I was quite “streetwise, but, there’s no fool like an old fool, I guess. Over the last month I became a victim of a clever 'Eastern European' scam whilst out shopping. I simply dropped into Sainsbury's on the Farnham Road for a bit of lunchtime shopping and it turned out to be quite traumatic. Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you or your friends. Here's how the scam works: Two seriously good-looking voluptuous 20-21-year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the boot. They both start cleaning your windscreen. Their large firm young breasts are almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. It's impossible not to look especially with all the rain we have been having. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they'll say 'No' and instead ask you for a lift to another store, in my case, the Asda at Lower early. You agree and they both get in the back seat. On the way, they start undressing and both get completely naked. Then, when you pull over to remonstrate, one of them climbs over into the front seat and starts crawling all over your lap, kissing you, touching you intimately and thrusting her *** in your face, while the other one steals your wallet! I had my wallet stolen November 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, 24th, and 29th. Also December 1st, 4th, twice on the 6th, three times last Saturday in Maidenhead and very likely again this coming weekend. So Be Warned! P.S. Aldi have wallets on sale for £1.99 each, but Lidl are £1.75 and look better.

Cosmetic changes

RoadHouse Slip on for sale

I have a used RoadHouse slip on, its in good condition apart from little ding on the can, it can be seen on the first picture around the middle of the top part of the can and bit of blue chrome where it joins oem exhaust I am looking to get £90 for it, i did buy from US. it comes as per the pictures and it has a rear brake reservoir bracket and few bolt and nuts to fit it. I bought set of Big Shots hence this is for sale. Collection is prefered as it is bulky item or i can meet in a suitable place as i tend to travel a lot with work Pictures are from the guy i bought t from PM me and i get back to you.

Went over the cliff. :(

Trying to be helpful went all to heck. As Paul Harvey would have said "and now the rest of the story"

I received the first order toward the end of May and the last of the pieces left yesterday.

Things that went wrong.

Waiting to see if others wanted to piggie back on the order.

Parts not being in stock.

Waiting for enough pieces to make the shippment worth the receivers time.

Me, having to be away for a month

Things that went right.

These were pieces that the US companies wouldnt ship over seas.

Using Paypal

Using DHL

So what have I learned from the process.

I cant ship packages from the US, by doing so I get hit with a tax of the US wanting their money from the sale (though I didnt sell anything). So the shipping has to originate from the receivers side. They also want a piece of the shipping charge (I received no payment for buying and shipping these things)

Even if a company is out of stock I can track pretty much anything down. (went through 3 vendors for Ian Richards)

I dont know if we need to continue this or not, I have let members down on getting parts in a timely maner. I greatly appoligize to them.

Exporting motorcycle from the UK

from an article in MCN this week - given the way we are persecuted by police and other authorities at the moment - being pulled over without due cause - being handed ASBO type punishment causing bike confiscation - we propose the following solution..

At the next census [only 2 years away] we declare our religion to be 'BIKER' - this way as with Jedi, it will become a documented faith!

And as religious persecution is prevented in the UK by law...the police and the courts will have to follow a proper 'break the law and be punished' approach and not doing 'well you were not doing what we wanted ' attitude

This will ensure the cops will have to follow the law properly and result in random stopping and checks without good cause being a criminal offence!!

If Biker is to be a new religion [everyone is free to believe as they choose - why not more than one belief - i believe in SODS law after all] we could have anew patch!!...lol

UK government trying to change law on speeding tickets

I've just heard that the government is trying to change the law on speeding tickets and some other motoring offences.

What they are trying to do is set things up so if you get a ticket and challenge it and win, you have to cover all the legal costs. Apparently having innocent people defend themselves is costing HMG too much money so they are trying to skewer us like this. I think their idea is that as it'll cost more than £60 to defend yourself, people will just cave in and pay up.

There is a petition up about this but it ends on the 9th November 2009 so sign it quick and pass this on to as many boards as you can.

The average British soldier is 19 years old…..he is a short haired, well
built lad who, under normal circumstances is considered by society as half
man, half boy. Not yet dry behind the ears and just old enough to
buy a round of drinks but old enough to die for his country – and for
you. He’s not particularly keen on hard work but he’d rather be
grafting in Afghanistan than unemployed in the UK. He recently left
comprehensive school where he was probably an average student, played some
form of sport, drove a ten year old rust bucket, and knew a girl that either
broke up with him when he left, or swore to be waiting when he returns
home. He moves easily to rock and roll or hip-hop or to the rattle
of a 7.62mm machine gun.

He is about a stone lighter than when he left home because he is working
or fighting from dawn to dusk and well beyond. He has trouble spelling,
so letter writing is a pain for him, but he can strip a rifle in 25 seconds
and reassemble it in the dark. He can recite every detail of a machine
gun or grenade launcher and use either effectively if he has to. He
digs trenches and latrines without the aid of machines and can apply first
aid like a professional paramedic. He can march until he is told
to stop, or stay dead still until he is told to move.

He obeys orders instantly and without hesitation but he is not without
a rebellious spirit or a sense of personal dignity. He is confidently
self-sufficient. He has two sets of uniform with him: he washes one
and wears the other. He keeps his water bottle full and his feet
dry. He sometimes forgets to brush his teeth, but never forgets to
clean his rifle. He can cook his own meals, mend his own clothes
and fix his own hurts. If you are thirsty, he'll share his water
with you; if you are hungry, his food is your food. He'll even share
his life-saving ammunition with you in the heat of a firefight if you run
low.

He has learned to use his hands like weapons and regards his weapon as
an extension of his own hands. He can save your life or he can take
it, because that is his job - it's what a soldier does. He often
works twice as long and hard as a civilian, draw half the pay and have
nowhere to spend it, and can still find black ironic humour in it all.
There's an old saying in the British Army: 'If you can't take a joke,
you shouldn't have joined!'

He has seen more suffering and death than he should have in his short lifetime.
He has wept in public and in private, for friends who have fallen in combat
and he is unashamed to show it or admit it. He feels every bugle note of
the 'Last Post' or 'Sunset' vibrate through his body while standing rigidly
to attention. He's not afraid to '***' anyone who shows disrespect
when the Regimental Colours are on display or the National Anthem is played;
yet in an odd twist, he would defend anyone's right to be an individual.
Just as with generations of young people before him, he is paying
the price for our freedom. Clean shaven and baby faced he may be,
but be prepared to defend yourself if you treat him like a kid.

He is the latest in a long thin line of British Fighting Men that have
kept this country free for hundreds of years. He asks for nothing
from us except our respect, friendship and understanding. We may
not like what he does, but sometimes he doesn't like it either - he just
has it to do. Remember him always, for he has earned our respect
and admiration with his blood.

And now we even have brave young women putting themselves in harm's way,
doing their part in this tradition of going to war when our nation's politicians
call on us to do so.

When you receive this, please stop for a moment and if you are so inclined,
feel free to say a prayer for our troops in the trouble spots of the world.

Tour 2009 U.K to Greece & Back 6400 miles!

I haven`t had much time since getting back so sorry for the delay in posting some photos, better late than never I guess..

Country and border list in order:

U.K, France, Germany, Switerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Back to Italy via ferry (Brindisi), Calabria then northwards taking in Salerno, Napol. Rome, Perugia, Florence, Forli, Bolognia, Milan and everywhere inbetween avoiding the tolls and main highways as much as was possible Back through Switerland, Germany (Black forest), Belgium to Calais (Had my money and all my documents stolen at this point).

On this tour I met some great people, and rode some incredible roads and had many many heart stopping moments, Albanian mountain roads in the pissing rain that dissappear when you crest the hill and Italian city centers come to mind.

The Beast only messed me about once the whole tour on the journey home through belgium, It pissed with rain and was a total white wall of spray from the trucks, some water had got into the TPS connector and caused the bike to stutter.

Having had problems with the TPS before I left for the tour it was the first thing I checked,10 minutes later and some WD40 I was good to go.

So happy was I to be on the move I left my bag with all my documnets !!!!!!!!!! Swearing insued and I turned off at the next exit to return to where I had stopped unfortunalty the bag had gone, surprise surprise. The local police helped me scour the roadside verge and amazingly we found some credit cards and other bits from the bag so I could buy a chunnel ticket in Calais.

All in all an amazing trip, Spolied slightly by loss of some documnets passport etc which made entering the U.K fun and games :)

VBAK Fitted

Had the day off today so decided to have a go at the BAK and relocation plate.

Checked I had everything and had a quick look at the instructions supplied.

It wasn't hard, but it's far from easy.

Tank off and ready to pull the lungs out.

Air box out, ready to relocate the coils, sensors and wiring.

Eveything in place. It's a tight squeeze. The bike fired up straight away.

This is what you end up with. I did the AIS block off some time ago, so anyone doing that as well will have more junk.

I'm going to try some members maps off here for the PC3, but a run on the dyno is planned.

Ride to the Wall (RTTW) - Sat 10th Oct

Hello Folks, long time no see/hear/chat/ride,

I'm still alive and kicking (just), hope that all you fine folks are well, happy and enjoying this unusually dry September.

Just wanted to pass on the detail of this new ride that started last year, it's a day ride out to the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas, Staffordshire (our National Memorial to our Armed Forces) and is in order to raise funds for the upkeep of the Arboretum. There were over 2000 bikes there last year and it was only the first year this ride was organised, many many more are expected this year. Registration for the ride is £7.50 which goes to the Charitable Trust that supports the memorial. You can either register online or there on the day. Here are a few links:

Would any of you fine people like to join us for the day? It'll be a leisurely ride no doubt so if you don't like riding VEEERRRY slowy in big crowds at times then clearly this is not for you. I do hope that some of you guys can make it though.

ok where do i start.

just over aweek ago i went to a local show run by a local yam owner's club had a fantastic day and run off with best paint job . all good so farthen on t way home1 tenth of a mile later .warriorblue and me came to a unjust end .A W///KER in a lorry pulled out on us[:'(] and im sorry to say that warriorblue is no more. but on t up side im still alive to tell the story . so if any of you boy's need any fancy parts i have *** loads for sale .
