Is there anyone close to Austin TX trailering their bike to Daytona for Biketoberfest? I'm looking at buying a set of 4 SRT wheels and tires for my Charger and need them transported safely from Austin to Daytona.

Colorado muscle cruiser club?

Hey guys...I've been thinking recently how sweet it would be to have some type of motorcycle club in colorado for people like myself, who love their powerfull bad ass cruisers and like to push their machines on the road ( within reason of course). What would you colorado riders think about starting a muscle cruiser club open to all brands of bike with common characteristics like v-rods, warriors, mean streaks, you get the picture. I think this would be a blast and a good place for fun and good comraderie. Let me know what you guys think to see if it would be worth looking into more seriously.

Want to get out and enjoy the nice weather since it has been raining for a week straight or longer. Several of us are planning a trip to the Wichita/Quachita Mountains leaving this Saturday from Mannford down hwy 99 to ADA and then over to Lawton where we are going to stay the night. But this is not that bad of a ride for you guys on the western side of the state so we could all meet somewhere and ride together. We are going down to show my nephew the Prairie Dog Town and just ride through the countryside. The weather is supposed to be very warm but there is always shade somewhere. If anyone interested let me know and we can set up a meeting place.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the site, recently stopped riding sport bikes and switched to cruisers. I'm tired of riding with the sport bike guys, and want to know if there is anyone here that meets up every other week, every week, or ever????

I have been reading the forums a lot but there does not seem to be much activity on here.

Please let me know if anything is going on any time soon or if anyone wants to meet up and ride.

We are trying to put together a bunch of people to go on a ride for this Sunday, July 12, 2009, from Tulsa to down past Lake Tenkiller. The mountain ride is great and its an easy enough ride for one day so you will not be wore out for work on Monday. If anyone is interested send me a PM and I will give out my cell.

Just thought I'd drop a line to you Austin peeps. I live in Bastrop and am new to the forum, got my warrior about a month ago from Whiteside. Wouldn't mind meeting up at a bike night event if the wifey will let me out of the house (been busy expecting a new arrival). Not really up for any long rides or dragon type runs with the new bike yet, so ya'll have to leave me behind for now. Not completely new to bikes, but I don't feel experienced enough yet for something like that. Better to err on the side of caution. Let me know what's up...

Oklahoma City July 4 Ride and Rally

It is being held at Charlie's Last Stand @ I-40 and S. Meridian.

Registration for the poker run is 10:00 am to Noon. Bikes out by noon back by 4:00 pm.

After the run they are going to have a band, food, bike show, bike games, vendors, and off track betting.

I probably wont go on the run but will be there from 10 to noon and then come back around 4:00 to hang out. If anyone wants to meet up shoot me a PM.

OKC Thunder Run April 3-5

It is usually a huge event with bands, venders, bike show, and a charity ride. Let me know if you are planning on attending and want to hook up with a few of us for the ride in.

Houston area garage day rerun, 1/24?

If there is any interest, I'm thinking of having a garage day some time in late September or early October (after it cools off a bit?). I'll be pulling the heads for porting & polishing a couple of weeks before that, and I will probably try to plan the garage day for reinstalling them and the speedstar cams & springs. If any of you local warrior guys (or non-local, for that matter) have some mods you want to do, may be can get together and learn from each other.

By the way, I have never put the top end of an engine together, so this is going to be a learning experience for me even if I'm all alone....

So I just heard about it today and am STOKED!!!! They started having these races annually back in 2005. My un official honneymoon was at the first one. Then they had one in 2006 and in 2007 it got flooded out and the promoter took the money and ran leaving OKC and the fans with a big black eye and worthless tickets. Well...2 years later the bad ass boats are back!!! Dates are June 5-7. Races are on the oklahoma river next to Dell off of I-44. Anyone who likes lots of power, noise, and bad ass speed needs to go. I plan on being there Sunday for the finals and am going to try to go to the show and shine whenever that is. For more info go to okcmotorsports.com Fastest boat in 2006 went 267 miles an hour in the 1/4! And that was in the little stretch of river off lincoln across from Bass Pro! See you there!

Anybody know of a shop that has a dyno and does custom maps close to Little Rock?
