99% positive I saw h-d killer (hank) pull out onto 17 south today... Had the window down in the peterbilt and like any well respected warrior owner I turned down the sirius to listen to him take off...got in it pretty good into second and then hit some redlight traffic...love that sound.... but really made me jealous that I've only put 4 miles on mine since september... :(

The 3rd Annual Poquoson Toys For Tots Motorcycle Parade is scheduled for Sunday, December 13, 2009. The start location will be at the Poquoson Police Department that is located at 774 Poquoson Avenue in Poquoson, VA. Registration will begin at 11:00AM with the motorcycle parade leaving at 1:00PM. Registration fee is one new unwrapped toy! The parade will end at the Marine Corp Reserve Drop-off Center that is located off of Aluminum Avenue in Hampton, VA.

This event is proudly hosted by the Poquoson Police Department and is supported by the B.U.B.B.A. Riding Club and the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve.

There will also be a "SPECIAL" Toy & Donation Collection for 3-year old Kira West and her family. Kira West was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) or brittle bone disease and has a difficult and long battle ahead of her. Unfortunately due to the cost of the on-going medical expenses and the recent lay-off from work the family of little Kira will not be able to provide Christmas for her or her brothers and sister. A list of items needed has been gathered for Kira West and her family and can be provided at request. The B.U.B.B.A. Riding Club will be proudly hosting the "Bikers For Becker" Charity Poker Run, Sunday, October 4, 2009. Event location is the Kiln Creek Farm Fresh Grocery Store, 200 Arthur Way, Newport News, VA 23602. Registration begins at 11:00AM with the Last Bike out at 12:30PM. Registration fee is $10.00 per rider, $5.00 for passengers and $5.00 for additional hands(You can purchase as many hands as you like…)

There will be coffee & doughnuts available!!!

The ride will consist of approximately a 1-½ hour, 50-mile long ride from Newport News, through Yorktown, back through Newport News and into Poquoson. The ride ends at the Poquoson City Swimming Pool Parking Lot, 16 Municipal Drive, Poquoson, VA 23662.

was talking to a guy in ocean citythis weekend at bike week.His bike was in the show at the yamaha tent it was a bad ass warrior let me tell you.He said that there is about ten guys with warriors that always ride together somewhere in maryland.Was wondering if anyone on this forum are in that group.I would love to have a group of warrior guys in pa. like that to ride with. i can imagine how fun that would be.

Was passed by a Warrior rolling on the interstate this evening. Who ever that was you had to pushing close to 90 mph. I could hear your exhaust from at least a 1/2 mile back.

Did you see that sportbike rider that slowly PUSHED his bike across 4 lanes of traffic, I saw you slow down for a little. He almost was a hood ornament for my truck.

In case anyone is wondering, it is not smart to turn off you lights, wearing a dark helmet and full black leathers and push a dark colored motorcycle accoss a four lane highway after sunset just over the top of a hill.

Ok I missed the last Mid Atlantic ride this past weekend. So what I want to do is show up in wildwood with as many Warriors and our friends (any bike) as we can get. The event goes from the 10th to the 13th of Sep. I would like for us to meet on the 12th. the Saturday. This is ample time for us to make this work. We did this a few years back but made the mistake of going down on the Sunday as everything was packing up. This year's event will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2009. Again this year, we will be staging in the rear of the National Air and Space Museum - Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center for our opening ceremonies.

After a police-escorted ride from Dulles Airport to the Pentagon, we will be able to visit the Pentagon Memorial.

Motorcycle staging at the Opening Ceremonies location at the National Air and Space Museum - Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center will take place from 8:00am to 10:00am. The actual Opening Ceremonies will start promptly at 9:00am.

From VA State Route 28, exit at the Air and Space Museum Parkway to a right turn at GATE 317. Once on Dulles Airport grounds, follow Police directions to the staging area. Click here for a map.

This is an event open to all motorcyclists, and all makes and models of motorcycles are welcome. You do NOT need to register and there's NO registration fee; just show up!

Our event will take place on the Sunday after September 11th due to several logistical reasons:

More people are able to attend during a weekend;
The VA State Police would not allow for any road closures for our escorted ride during a weekday.

I am in the process of possibly having a small gathering at my place after Thunder in the Valley this year. If any of you local guys are interested, let me know. Me and about 4 Harley buddies/wives/girlfriends will be heading up there Saturday and messing around then back to my place near 7 Springs for beer, grilling and bonfire. If anyone is interested let me know. It's out in the country and peaceful. Not looking to have a huge thing just thought anyone close may be interested in a little gathering, and it would be nice not to be the only warrior in the pack again.....
