Who is in the Topeka area or the Kansas side of the KC area??

Recently moved to the area (1/2 hr south of Top.) and need to find out where everyone rides to and what is coming up for stuff to do in the area.

I can't be the only Warrior in Kansas!!??

Saw a warrior today in Minneapolis, MN today with a yellow and black paint scheme on West Broadway and Washington Ave. It was Friday, Sep 11, at 2.28pm. I was driving a bus when I saw you. I barely ever seen another warrior in MN so I got excited.

You were comming out of the houston nature center, I was standing on the corner, contemplating flagging you down, but decided to let you ride on. Bike had a blue factory flame job 2-2 pipes looked like bigshots or possibly jughuggers, couldnt tell from the back. Rider was geared up in full face black helmet and riding jacket. Hit me up sometime, I know some fun roads to run.

Anyone plan on going? The wife and I plan to go. Its near winfield, ks, good hour ride south of wichita.

DEXTR BARBEQUE: One such event is the Dexter Annual Barbeque. A pit beef barbeque is cooked by the local “experts”. Generations have done this event & it continues to be passed on to the upcoming generations. The meal usually consists of the great barbeque meat, pot cooked & smoked baked beans, corn on the cob, a dessert and a drink. Plates may be purchased with one or two barbeque sandwiches. The prices run from $5.00 - $7.00 a plate. Proceeds go to the Dexter Civic Club. The area churches usually provide ice cream and they split those proceeds. During the day of the BBQ, many fun street games take place for kids & adults alike. An annual fun run takes place & usually adults participate in the run. Vendors line the streets. Many of these are fund-raisers for local non-profits. The high school usually sponsors a breakfast to raise proceeds for their annual Washing D.C. trip for a history class. Vendors provide cheap drinks for the day – iced tea for 50 cents – and local cafés are also open. Some vendors sell souvenirs just to exercise their entrepreneurial spirit and maybe raise money for a family vacation. The BBQ usually takes place in mid-July each year.

Was just checking to see if any of the guys that are riding the warriors in town here are on the forum and want to get a ride going. So far just me and my buddy and he can only ride off and on, little lonely at the top nobody with other bikes want to ride with a warrior when they are out-classed in every way.
