We got married/handfasted on Oct 31st and had a Costume party reception afterwards. The ceremony and reception went perfect and were a lot of fun. We are in Boston now. We spent the day touring downtown and the haaahbor, had a beer at Cheers and ate at Legal SeaFood. Tomorrow we are spending the day in Salem.

Got to get off the computer before I get caught on the forum on my honeymoon though.

13 day 3260 mile from Colorado to Glacier National Park and back

At the end of August my Fiancee and I left Ft Collins in northern Colorado and headed north destination Glacier National Park. We headed up HiWay 14 to Walden, through Saratoga WY to Kemmerer WY via Rawlings and Lander. If you miss Lander you may run short on gas since it's 180 miles to Kemmerer. Most of these photos are taken while I was riding so the 'composition' isn't so good sometimes but hopefully you'll enjoy them anyway:}

We passed by Bear Lake which is in Utah and Idaho hoping to find a Fish restaurant but there was nothing! Here I have the XL Clearview shield, Corbin DualTour with Backrest, Kuryakyn Tailbag and Saddlebags on EZBrackets, Chase Harper 1560 Tankbag and Garmin 550. Who says the Warrior isn't a Tourer!! 20 mins after I get back it's back to the sleek Warrior:}

We were filling with gas in Blackfoot Idaho and a guy drives up and starts talking about my bike. Turns out it's Octaneaddiction from RSW:} So nice to meet Jeff.

This is my idea of living!!!! You need a boat to get to your house:}

Now we've reached the edge of Glacier National Park and really enjoyed meeting up with Justin aka Justice on RSW in Columbia Falls MT. The following day we ride up the 'Going to the Sun' through the park. Unfortunately there was a lot of construction but it didn't delay us too much. SO worth it!!!

This next picture is on the west side of the summit at Logan Pass and the pic after is a close up of the waterfall at the bottom of this first pic. The Panasonic Lumix is an amazing camera and it fits in my jacket pocket ready to take pics like this 'on the go'.

This next photo shows one of the Glaciers in the 'Many Glacier' area. In 1920 there were 150 glaciers, now there's just 26.

Riding by Lake Sherburne, we got to Many Glacier and took an expensive boat ride on Swiftcurrent Lake and Lake Josephine. Incredible colors in the Lakes:}

From there we headed north to the Waterton Parks in Canada where the Prince of Wales Hotel is. Since I'm English, we had to have High Tea at the Prince of Wales:} We saw a huge Bear here that almost took up one whole lane of the road. Of course my camera was out of battery so you'll just have to believe it:}:}

Now we're heading way south back into Idaho from Canada and follow the Salmon and Little Salmon rivers after going by Lake Kookanusa (great names up there:})

Apparently the Salmon Rivers are well known to Kayakers and you can see why. This is a little after Hell's Canyon.

At Banks ID which is south of Cascade you can turn east to Lowman ID and then to Stanley. The Sawtooth range is spectacular and this is a pic from a previous trip showing them:

This was our last lunch spot which is on the west side of Dinosaur National Monument in eastern Utah. A wonderful trip with wonderful company and so much beautiful country which I hope you have enjoyed. Perhaps it's inspired you to plan a trip. If you come by Colorado be sure and come by and say hi:} Ride safe out there.....

wheel is off at kosmans, and swingarm is being modified(yes properly braced) I wanted to see some picture of people who are running with out the top belt guard but still using the bottom, and some without either. Want to know what it looks like before I remove the mounts permanently ......thanks. I am so happy can't wait to get my wheel back.

I don't know if this has been started before, but I searched and did not find it. Everyone including myself loves to see exhaust systems for the Warrior on the actual bike and not on the companies catalog photo. So how 'bout post a pic in this thread of your bike and exhaust from the exhaust side of your bike. Let's try and get every model and variation of that model represented (chrome, black, ceramicoated, etc). Don't post the exact same exhaust twice. Looking forward to seeing some sweet rides.

Well, I didn't race but I took some bitchin pictures of the guys running their bikes. Sam's bike did a beautiful 10.21 1/4 mile and the boys held their own, doing nice clean 12.6 runs. I had the opportunity to stand anywhere in the track and try to get some photos of the Warriors and some of the other dudes who ran their bikes at the local drag strip, here in Orlando.

Here are a few pictures of my bike not finished on its way to being done. These are a couple of new pieces that I have made and a few more need to be added. It should all come together by July 4th. I will post new pictures as it begins to come together more. This is about what it will look like, but the new front end has not come in yet, so this is a rough estimate of the length it will be when finished. 1 inch off the ground slammed with 4.5 inches of clearance with air ride. Ignore the gsxr body its not part of the bike, its just on the other lift behind my bike and looks like its my body. Hope you like it!

Some New Hardware For The Warrior

Since there was nothing going on this weekend I entered the Warrior in a bike and car show. This was professionally judged show using judges from a historic car & bike preservation society. They gave away awards for the top 5 bikes in no particular order and a Best of Show Trophy. I walked away with both!! As usual, with my MAC I am not able to post pictures to the new site. So, today I woke up to a beautiful day that's cool and NOT humid, for once, and I decided to play hookie and take the ole Warrior out for a 200 mile spin around Central Florida. Luc came along and we decided to take a couple of shots while going down the longest straight-shot road I've ever been on. Can't wait til Biketoberfest to go riding with the FL crew!

Well, here she is. One pic is all the way up which doesnt look to be as high as I thought and other is slammed. I am off to the right about 1/8 of inch to where fender is resting on tire when slammed. Havent ridden yet.

This might be an idea to get all the 'Custom Warriors' that win shows (as well as "Warrior of the Month" winners) in one place. Seems to be more and more Warriors winning prizes lately. The subject has been brought up a couple of times and it may encourage others.

Been gone a while, a little update on my bike.

Since purchasing my bike from Scott (independant_lemming) I had it shipped to Nebraska and have been slowly working on it.

Once it got here took off the Hole shot with in minutes of uncrating it and put on a set of BMS Guilty exhaust. Soon there after I put on Baron Bomber bars (wired them internaly).Then removed all the LED's from the bike, removed plastic intake cover and reran the fuel lines to go under the tank. I also reworked some of the wire bundles and cleaned up the right side of the bike. I removed the skull accent peice that covered a bundle of mixed wires, and repainted the engine with the black low gloss ceramic engine paint. Last I debadged the tank to clean it up a bit.

I repinned the power commander that came with the bike and had the bike tuned. Its putting down 120ft/lbs and 95whp. With out the commander on untuned it was 90ft/lbs and 70whp (initial dyno). The entire fuel map was a custom job and she definately pulls like a bat out of hell now. Before she was stout but now its STUPID!!!

So here is the before pics:

This had the BMS on it with stock bars. I dont have pics of the bike with the hole shot on it. Note the black bundle of wires.

This is a picture with the LED's on and the once red skull painted black. You can still see the bundle through the skull.

The bundle is cleaned up and reworked to limit the amout of slack out side the tank area. The skull is off presenting the engine and exhaust nicely and the debadged tank realy smooths out the lines.

The left side of the bike cleaned up. The engine is now the main show peice. To red accents, no plastics, and no misc wirings.

I pulled out a bucket of wiring from all the LED's on the bike

I was lucky enough to start out with Scotts outstanding bike and it put me leaps and bounds ahead of where I wanted to be. There was nothing wrong with the LED route, but after giving it a fair shot (6 months) I decided they just were not for me. The bike is staying ridged, lowered, stretched, with the chain. Shortly I will be putting in the lightweight pressure plate and gold springs that came with the bike to increase the clamping load of the clutch. Im looking down the road at a set of 7 degree raked trees to bring the front out a little more to make the lines complement front to rear. and I should be done by then

On a side note I do have the stock bars, coil relocation plate W/ tubes, and holeshot exhaust for sale. I'll be posting those up shortly unless some one messages me with an offer.... hint hint.
