Hey Gerald, welcome to the family Bro. Thanks very much for the compliment about my Warrior, if you have any questions then please don't hesitate to contact me through PM, I'm more than happy to take you through anything. Alternatively there are plenty of experts on here for just about any warrior related subject (and more) so never be afraid to ask. I have two South Africans as my next door neighbours and they're good guys too so I understand the language [;)]

Okay - I have my bike! Yeeha!

She is a lot better that I actually expected - a 2008 Warrior. They changed the bars and the seat for me, drag bars and seat. I think it looks really beautiful, so much so that I am not sure what I want to customise. I think the back tyre at 200 is pretty nice, and as soon as I got it I put on 500km/310mi - obviously at low revs as I rode her off the showroom floor at zero mileage.

The bike really handles well and I was thinking of putting on a 240 or 260 back tyre - how does that effect handling? What do you guys recommend? What is the break even for looks and losing handeling?

And how the hell do I upload images on this site? I cant find any option for it. Is inline imags the only way?

Hey there. Thanks for the reply. I do think your bike is seriously nice. I even downloaded pic a while back as "blueprint" to where I would like the bik eto get to. ANd gald you have South Africans as neighbours - so now you know we like to have loads of beer, BBQ (Braai) and spend time with friends. ANd we love biking of course!

I just got my bike and I am about to ride about 3000km/1880mi next week - Looking forward to taking her on a nice ride down to the coast with a few friends, also on cruisers. Should be a good trip. WIll take lots of pics.

A quick question, what tyre and swingarm do you have on your bike?

Here is a pic of my new bike...

Love your new beast mate, superb colour.

Gerald, my swingarm is a stock arm but modified (widened) to take a 240 tyre.  The rear wheel is a widened stock to 8 1/2 inches with a 240 Metz 880 Marathon tyre fitted.  The 8 1/2 inch rim can take a 260 but my swingarm cannot.

You'll be pleased to know that I've invited my SA neighbours over next week to polish off a few crates, they're not bikers but they never complain about my noisy pipes so they get my vote Smile  Ride safe Bro.
