Everyone come through the storms okay last night?
At one time, the tornado was 8 miles away from us and moving at 50 miles an hour. At least that's what it said on the TV this morning at 3:30AM'ish. We went over to mom and dads. Looks like at least two people were killed in Kenly and Elm City.
I signed us up for 'Weather Call' on WRAL's website. It'll call you if there is a tornado warning in your immediate area, based on the address you key in. It's free and I think a valuable resource. I usually wake up at night if a storm hits but that one time that you don't could be your last! You can also opt for severe thunderstorm warnings if you wish to get them. Just thought I'd pass it along. I know it'll give me a little more piece of mind when I go to sleep at night and there's a storm coming. Oh, and once you sign up you can test it to make sure it works too.
