    Re: Hey everybody!

    unicyclist:

First time posting in part of the forum.  I have been hooked on the look of the warrior since I first saw it in the dealership back home in TX.  I check up on this site usually every day I get the chance to...time for me to stop being a troll!

Im currently deployed out of Fort Bragg and look forward to getting a warrior and meeting up with everybody!

I know of at least one other warrior in the Fayetteville area.  I saw the bike at the Sonic Drive-in a few times, and I have seen one on post before.  Is that someone one of you guys?

I don't think it's any of us but I'm not positive.  Welcome to the area.  I grew up in Fayetteville from about '67 to '86 so I know the area pretty well.  You're definitely close enough to join us on some group rides so get busy and get you a bike so you can join in.  Hmmm...  Maybe I shouldn't be the one posting the welcome since I don't even have a Warrior anymore.  Smile

Are we going to ride this weekend?

Congrats Travis on your Iron Butt award.

Thanks, Jim.  LET'S ROLL.  Big Smile  I put right at 40 miles on the bike today riding back and forth a couple of times to a house that my mother-in-law may buy soon...  10 miles from here.  Went out there twice.  Pretty cool house...  2274 sq ft, 3/4 acre with a pond literally in the back yard, 2-car garage, master bedroom on the bottom floor, seriously considered buying it myself as like an investment thing...  pulled up the mortgage calculator online and all that...  but...  not the right time.  But...  I'm ready to ride some tomorrow, seriously.  Not sore at all from the long ride the other day and I'm getting bored.  Anyone have a cool destination in mind?  I don't wanna ride 1000 miles again but I'm up for a good ride like 100-200, maybe even 300 or so miles?  3-4 hours of riding somewhere, eating some good food, hanging out with friends.  Sign me up. Best riding will be earlier in the day before the heat sets in.  Leave at 9am or so and go somewhere and eat...  that kinda thing?

    The Virginia Invation

Me and a few Virginia riders are talking about riding to Naggs Head on 7/11.  Anyone want to ride out, grab lunch and hang for a few?

I might possibly be up for that.  My wife's going out of town for a week, though, and will just be getting back around 7/11 so...  not sure yet exactly how things will be going next Saturday.  Please post a reminder again around Thursday or Friday so those of us who are too senile to remember anything for more than a few minutes at a time can be reminded of...  uh...  that thing that I was wanting to be reminded of.  Oh yeah, the ride thing.  Smile

hahaha!  I had fun too.  A little surprised how much I enjoyed the ride since we were pretty much riding like vaginas the whole time.  I don't think we went 10 mph over the speed limit.  Smile  But that was smart of us I think since the cops were at least supposed to be out there in force for the 4th of July stuff.  Really nice roads we were on.  I looked at a map when I got home and it looks like we might have made it about 1/3 of the way out to the Dragon on that trip...  so not sure I'd want to ride those backroads to the Dragon or it would take me A LONG TIME to get there.  I also didn't realize it but apparently my butt isn't quite over the whole iron butt trip thing.  OUCH!  Surprise
