Hey Travis a friend of mine at the Gym says the PITT is the BOMB! A somewhat schmancy upscale restaurant  that serves GREAT BBQ!   He said that the bbq is to die for and the sides are out of this world!  SOMETIME  WE GOTTA GO!

Yeah, it was on that Bobby Flay Throwdown show the other week.  Bobby tried to outdo the PIt dude and got SMOKED.  Pun intended.  Maybe some of us could meet there for lunch and afterwards take a long ride to um...  "burn off some of the calories."  

I thought The PIT was a small BBQ shop on 54 here in RTP. (pretty damn good I might add).. I know that the owner(or cook) of the place here was a judge on that throwdown deal.

Gabe, we should meet there for lunch one day. You sure it's named The Pit? There's a place over on 54 that has awesome bbq... but I thought it was called Smokey's or something like that. Ah... found it... this one... http://www.smokeysshack.com/ They have a sampler platter where you get wings, pulled pork, brisket, etc. NOM NOM NOM! Now there's a "The Pit" in Raleigh, too, and it was that one that Bobby Flay went to (on the episode I watched) and got shown how to make real bbq. There's going to be a birthday party at my house tomorrow for a bunch of screaming teenage kids from 1-4pm and I'm thinking I am NOT gonna be here for it...  They're not gonna want me around and as much as I love all of them, I'm not gonna want me around either.  Anyone up for a ride tomorrow?  Lunch?  The Pit?  Somewhere?  Anywhere?    I'm going one way or another, would be nice to have someone to ride with.  Lemme know if anyone's up for a ride.

Awesome movie.    Cool deal, anyone else?  Dwight and I are gonna talk at 11am about exactly when to head out but it'll looking like we'll start riding around noon.  Man, I didn't realize how many "Harley haters" there were on this board until I bought one.  I might just have to buy another Warrior.  No...  not for me, for Kim, just so when someone runs their mouth about my bike I can say "Hey, I like Warriors!  Heck, my wife rides one!"    So Dwight, any destination ideas?  You gonna eat lunch before we head out or should we go eat somewhere?

Sorry we missed the ride yesterday. Philip has his baseball championship this weekend, which was yesterday and today. We did a little riding in the evening.. It was very very nice.

Effective Sunday June 14, 2009 SUNDAY BIKER BREAKFAST HAS MOVED Hello Gentlemen and Gentleladies. Well, it’s been a good 12 year run here at “Michael’s but Olive Branch Cafe lasted about as long as the sports bar lasted here at Cole Park. Just gonna have to move the bike herd again. The owners of the Occoneechee Steak House in Hillsborough are excited about taking the Biker Breakfast over. They would appreciate the business and said that they can serve a breakfast buffet and can give us a good space. Although the parking lot is a bit hilly there are plenty of level parking areas for motorcycles and they have large unpaved overflow if needed. It’s a pretty cozy spot with shade trees and an overlook view. It is still centrally located and there are good roads nearby. Please pass on the information to all of your friends and fellow riders. Thanks and see you there! Occoneechee Steak House is only about 15 minutes northwest of “Michael’s” here in Cole Park. OK there is a Triangle Squid that turns 50 on Saturday and they were wondering if anyone would be interested in Getting together and going out to eat. Mind you that we will be eating at 4:30 due to their OLD AZZ But i thought I would see if their was any interest anyway. Guess they figure that hanging out with us would be a pretty cool way to celebrate  What say yea?

Of course I will have to check with the boss, but I think our calendar is open for Saturday afternoon... Where are you thinking of going for dinner?

Damn Dwight, the one day that we are going to be out of town is your Birthday.. I knew it was coming up, just didn't know the exact day.. Great.. Well, Martha and I will give you a call on Saturday... Maybe we can go get something to eat Sunday or later on in the week. We are leaving to Georgia Friday-Sunday.. But I think we will be coming back early Sunday.. We will see..

Hey Travis and Kim and anyone else interested in this !    FV is having a Cruise In this Friday the 19 in Beautiful Downtown Fuquay!  There will be lots of old  cool cars !   Anyone wanna throw their leg over their moto cycle and ride down there and check them out  then go GRUBBIN!  somewhere? 

The Friday thing sounds great. Count us in. Oh, and Saturday... a friend of mine is playing in a band at Locked and Loaded in Garner... same guy from last time that a couple of y'all met... I'm finding out what the time frame is that he'll be playing now... but it's a thought of something extra (in addition to 4:30 dinner thing) to do Saturday. I'll post up once I have details.
