Will do.He had a rough year over there,he was struck 2 different times by an IED while riding in a convoy resulting in a concussion and broken leg then after healing up while out on patrol he was clearing houses and was shot point-blank with a 7.62 in the ceramic plate of his vest breaking some ribs.Somebody was definateley watching over him as a couple of the guys with him did not make it back,God rest there souls.I'm glad he's back and in one piece but in all likleyhood he will be going back.

And on a lighter note, the Preacherman and I had an excellent little ride today. Yes, it was a real ride not imaginary and I did leave the garage, at least I think I did.

We ventured up to Manchester, TN to see the independent lemming and get the front fender that he let me have a few months ago when I was looking for parts to put the Warrior back together. We rode out of Chattanooga up Hwy 41 across Mont-eagle and on into Manchester. I called Scott when we got to Manchester and it was a good thing I did, he and his lovely wife were in town eating breakfast just across the interstate from where we were. We met up with him and his bride and followed them back to the house. Nice place BTW, Scott. Randy and I hung out for a bit, snagged a bunch of stuff plus that fender and headed back down 41 to home.

If you have never been over Mont-eagle on 41 try it, it is an absolutely incredible ride, hard to believe that it was the main route for trucks until 24 was built.

Thank you, Scott for the stuff and thank you, Randy for coming along and the late lunch. Hope to get to ride with ya again, soon.

Well... I ain't dead, if that's the question! [xx(]
I ended up having to sell the bike for a number of reasons. As much as I hated having to do it, I really wanted it to go to someone who would give it the time it deserved. I had put than 2000 miles on it since DragonFest 2006 and that included driving it back and forth to work everyday during the summer. Then, in late April, my friend Chris (PitViper) lowsided his Duc while riding Push Mountain in Arkansas and had to be airlifted to Little Rock. I had to drive the three hours to LR with his wife not knowing what we would find when we got there. Luckily, he walked away with a little rash, a few huge bruises, and a severely beaten ego. After that scare (keep in mind he has twin toddlers at home and I have two daughters that are 4 and 5), both of us decided to get out of riding for a while- at least until the kids were a bit older and we had enough life insurance to cover our families if something were to happen. Not that I haven't been looking, but I'm trying to hold off for a few years at least. The guy I sold it to seemed really cool and I've seen him riding all over Memphis so he's given the beast a good home.

I still come around just to keep up with what's going on, but more or less I'm just lurking. I'll go through the list and update the first posting. If I've missed you, send me a PM and I'll update the list.
Sorry Im late, slacking off takes time.

Good to see you post Spudly, completely understand about the need to wait awhile.
I had a trip planned for Heber Springs-Batesville-Mountain Home area ride but never made it. Lost to much good riding time waiting on the bike to finish.

Has anyone come up with a wwekend to meet up yet?

Hello Mike, welcome aboard, several years ago I played in a league at Chattanooga Billiard's Club (East). I used to love playing pool, and made several trips to Atlanta with a buddy to watch him play and provide some back-up muscle if the need arose. I'm riding a Rocket III now, the Warrior is a little crunched up for the time being. I was the biker that crashed Sept a year ago on I-75 at the East Brainerd Rd. exit and had traffic tied up for hours on the north and south bound sides.
