 You'll have to get on the East side of the state for any activity.  The folks from Nashville and Memphis just don't hang around much anymore. We're not that far from Clarksville.  The hills on the east side are just an overnighter away from you.  You should think about getting up to the Return to the Dragon trip in September.  I'm assuming you're military???

I'm a few hours down I24 from you.

Back in my younger, wilder days I could make it to Chattanooga from Gate 4 in 2 hours and 7 minutes.  But then again I was was in the infantry and not real smart.  Monteagle at a 120 plus is a lot of fun, I got to know quite a few of the state troopers along that stretch of highway.  The speed limit was still 55 then. 

I was in B Co 3/187th Inf (Rakkasans) right next door to the Air Assault School for a couple of years and then transferred to C Co 1/187 to go to the Sinai with the MFO.

I'm inprocessing at the 101st Airborne Division this week. My orders say that I'm going to 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Battallion of the 187th, not sure which company yet though ...moved here from Fort Bragg, NC.  I'm gonna get at much riding and trips in as I can.  It looks like I'm probably deploying sometime in January for a year.

 Will stop by & say hey the next time I visit the folks in NC.

 I can't believe I'm saying this.........My Warrior is gone! Things have just gotten too tight by being out of work and all the bills associated with my wifes surgery so when the savings ran out the toys had to go. I have had alot of bikes and cars thru the years but only two of them gave me a sick feeling in my gut when I watched them roll away, My 69 Mach 1 and my Warrior![:'(] I know I haven't been around much but I've been playing catch up and there just isn't enough time in the day or days in the week seems like! Also my daughter is getting married Saturday......can you say "Bridezilla!!!" Maybe things will calm down some after that and hopefully come winter I will be back in the market for another Warrior. I'm not leaving the forum I just have to take care of business for a while longer and maybe nothing else in my world will blow up and I can get back to some shade of normal....... yeah right! I'll be in from time to time.

  Sorry to hear about your Warrior My Friend. I have not been following this here forum for quite some time and am very surprised to hear of your sale. One has got do what is first and foremost and that is taking care of one's family. Dont know if you know, but I am and have been trying to sell my Warrior and if I still have it when your ready to pull the trigger I would be more than happy to give you a great deal on one Fine Warrior.
