    Re: Northeast depression thread LOL!!

I thought this was a depression thread. Don't read on if you don't like a somber tone.

2/18, DAY 1 OF BEING WARRIOR OWNER:
Trailered it home from the dealer and put it in the shed. Took a couple pictures for the welcome mat of RSWarrior forum. I got to ride it from the driveway to the shed. It gets a little squirrely on the ice and snow. Must be the new, green rubber. Once its scuffed it will be fine. It started snowing a few minutes after I got it put away. Drank a few twisted teas...

2/19, DAY 2 OF BEING WARRIOR OWNER:
Snowed 6 inches of heavy, wet stuff then turned to rain and slush and mud. Visited the bike in the shed, sat on it. Fitted the stock seat in solo mode. Looks like I'll have to cover those hardware holes and remove the mylar protective tape and do some buffing and waxing to make it look ok... That needs to be done in warm weather. Couldn't hang out, had to go shovel, plow and snow blow. Drank a few more twisted teas...

2/20 DAY 3 OF BEING WARRIOR OWNER:
Snowed another 6 inches overnight but it was light, fluffy, cold snow. Friend stopped by after work so I started it up in the shed. Arrrghh arrrgh argh! Damn that Pro Pipe sounds good. Drank a couple twisted teas and went back to shovel, plow and snow blow some more. Ran out of twisted tea and started on the JD. Made this post for the NE Depression string...

     Depressed? Hell ya.

Congratualtions on the new bike! Ever been to Whitehorse gear over in Conway? They are a great place to buy bike gear and they have a lot of stuff specific to KLR's. The cool thing is you can go check out the stuff, fit it to your bike etc. Its a great road trip when the weather warms up.
