"platipus12" and "brtn15", where are you guys located?  I'm wondering if I can get there from where I am.

im in lewiston just a few miles from the greene town line.   i did get out on the bike sunday, monday and tuesday but they are saying 40s for the rest of the week and rain/snow mix tomorow so that sucks.  maby next week will be back into the 50s im hoping for the 60 again but its looking grim for that kind of weather till spring.

i just mapquested nothbridge mass and it is 3 hours from lewiston and 174 miles it looks like a pritty strait shot though.

Yes, I am very familiar with the trip between Northbridge and Lewiston.  I make that very same trip every Friday night and back to MASS again on Monday mornings.  Not to Lewiston exactly, I get off exit #63 in Gray, ME and and take 26N into Oxford,ME.  I'm building a retirement home in Otisfield, ME (a ways off Rte 121).  I just took another close look at my back tire and as much as I enjoy the ride, I can't risk another trip on that tire and I can't justify putting a new on so it can sit on it thru the winter.  I'm also very familiar with Rte 121 into Auburn/Lewiston (lumber purchases).  I just read in one post by brtn15 that he is in Bar Mills, that puts me between you two (but closer to Lewiston).. Maybe we can meet up next year after mud season passes.

absolutly im down with getting together for a ride next season lets hope for alot of sun next year.

the hills would be great on the realy hot days.  on the days its in the 70s to 80 we should do a run down rout 1 i believe that follows all of Maines coast.

man I hope you guys got a chance to ride today the weather was awsome.  Just about 70 in december I love it.
