    Re: We're here for you.

Frank, very sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my father this year as well at the age of 59. He was my best friend and I still struggle to talk about it. Continue to be there for your family. The strength you have together goes a lot further than alone. Take comfort in knowing he's in a better place now. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

bummer.  my belt broke today.  lucky i was only one mile from home and i was able to coast most of the way home downhill.  it is a weird sensation when your belt breaks. at first you think you are in neutral because you give it throttle but you are not accelerating, then you realize your neutral light is not on, and then you realize what has happened. 25K on the bike and i don't know how many miles on the belt since i bought it used.  at least it didn't happen a hundred miles from home.

That a bummer Dave! I agree that it was a good thing you were close to home. Let me know if you need my help in changing it out.

Here is the part number and price from MotorsportsSuperStore.com before the forum discount.

Here is the price from BikeBandit.com

    V-BELT

Dave, I found this deal on a new aftermarket drive belt for you. Not bad for $139.95.  Matt from Performance Edge is selling them.

They also carry the Gates Kevlar poly chain, though the search doesn't pick it up very well.

The Gates Kevlar Poly Chain is your best bet, it is the strongest out of the bunch rated at 1000 Hp.

    Hey Guys!

Sung, Julie and I got back from a ride up PCH - 101 to Monterey / SF / and back down via I-5.  Going up was misty and 60 degrees and coming down was 100 degrees hitting 105 at one point (Sung's wife followed us in her car and told us).  What a ride.

Before we left, I fueled by Kich's house and saw a Black Cherry Warrior.  Anyone know who it is?

Also, how do you upload pics?  I had to post this on Flicr and link it.  No more uploading?
