I just barely make it to route 66 by 8 and I live in town. I don't think I will be attending any out of SC Valley bike nights during the week in the foreseeable future. I am up for weekend events on my non kid weekends!!!!!

On another note kep Frank and his family in your prayers, his dad took a turn for the worse last night and is back in ICU....

    Re: Warrior Sighting

Well, ok.  I don't know any "Bike Nights" in LA.  But i'm sure if we picked a spot we all would want to go to, park our bikes in front, it can create a bike night of our own.  Imagine after a few weeks more and more bikes start showing up.  We can sit back and say "we started it".  Maybe even we can get the owner to start doing somethign positive like give us free food for referring so many people or contribute to the "garage night fund".

I'm even open to seeing if we can find something in the Valley off the 405 between 118 and 101.  I'm sure it'll take some time, but can be awesome.  It's summer and we need to hang out more often.

Ali, do you know any in the valley that has a good parking lot we can park our bikes and hang out on with good food?  This is your neck of the woods.

How about we all look for something and try it out?  I use www.yelp.com and they have been pretty good at the reviews.

Here is one pick that i found.  seems promising.  anyone up for it this week?  http://www.yelp.com/biz/salsa-and-beer-van-nuys

I gotta say, that sounds like really good mexican food, but I don't know if the location is exactly prime for a bike night. Take a look...

    Google Maps Link

I'd be game for meeting there sometime just for food tho :)

Well here is one!  It is for tomarrow at 6:00pm.

It looks like Riverat, AlanH and I are going so far. Anyone else interested in joining us??

    CalWarrior:

Employees from Yamaha are having a Bike Night Thursday, July 24 and would like to extend an invitation to all local riders. I attended the last 2 and there has been a decent turnout at each. It's a great opportunity to show off your ride and get to talk with Yamaha insiders. The next Bike Night will be at Potillo's Hot Dogs in Buena Park from 6:00-??. Hope to see you there.

Hey guys I was in AZ for a few days for a meeting....it was a cool 107F...damn oven over there. There are couple of places in the Valley....one is the Sage Brush in Calabasas which has a huge parking lot and is a very active local bike hangout. Also there is a Cafe Roma right up the street from my condo on Lindley and Ventura blvd....this place gets packed and also has a huge parking lot....I see bikes there all the time and they are open til 2pm!!!  They serve coffee, sandwiches and gourmet pastries and desserts.

    Re: Warrior Sighting

I've been to the Sage Brush.  That's is a cool place, but a little more out of the way than convenient.  Cafe Roma sounds good...

kich;  buena park is a bit far for me.  i'd like to go somewhere my wife can follow to on her bike.

btw, i'm impressed with her riding skills, she's been doing well.  we've done about 800 miles this month alone.  we've been to Santa Barbara, San Diego, Newport Beach, Cook's Corner, Neptune's Nest, through Santa Clarita canyons and we're hoping to try to go to the bay area later this month.  Even known to split a few lanes now and then on the 405 (YIKES!).

Maybe she'll join a Warrior group ride like we did to Hell's Kitchen.  Though she does tend to stay below 85MPH.

    Perfect weather in Tahoe

Looks like it will be fantastic weather in Tahoe this weekend. This will be the first time in years that I have been in Tahoe without the motorcycle!!!!!!
