If I remember right the strip is about an hour and a half from the Kickstand, so anyone leaving from there should leave around 10:30am to get there by noon. The store, Cross Roads of Time, is about 20 minutes closer. So schedule yourself accordingly.
Directions from Kickstand Lodge:
1: Start out going WEST on NC-28 toward POPLAR HL. 19.8 miles Map
2: Turn LEFT to stay on NC-28. 2.8 miles Map
3: Turn RIGHT onto US-129 (Crossing into TENNESSEE). 14.9 miles Map
4: Turn RIGHT onto FOOTHILLS PKWY. 16.8 miles Map
5: Turn LEFT to take the US-321 ramp. 0.1 miles Map
6: Turn LEFT onto US-321 S / TN-73 W / SMOKY MOUNTAINS HWY / WALLAND HWY. Continue to follow US-321 S / TN-73 W / WALLAND HWY. 4.1 miles Map
7: Turn RIGHT. 0.3 miles Map
8: Turn RIGHT. 0.2 miles Map
9: Turn RIGHT onto TUCKALEECHEE PIKE. 0.2 miles Map
