Id like to see what those look like...A friend has them on his vtx and they look pretty good. I just cant see spending the money until I see what they look like on a warrior.

I installed the Kiriakyn Iso boards on mine. Look super. I ended up making special rubber mounted brackets to isolate vibration, as floorboards pick up alot of vibs. Don't have pictures right now. KC

What part number are the Cobra floorboards you ordered?  Did they install with out any mods or adapters?  What did you think of them for comfort?  Thanks

    Re: cobra floorboards

After noticing that the Kuryakyn floorboard mounts for the Raider and the Warrior were the same part#, I made the leap that boards and pegs that fit the Raider will likely fit my Warrior.  I know, simply genius ;^)

Cobra appears to no longer directly make a floorboard for the Warrior.  However, Cobra Swept Rider boards for Raider, fit just nicely - no adaptations necessary.  One of these days I'll get around to posting a pic showing where they fold up to.

Having a board rather than a peg was necessary for my short legs.  I spent too much time riding with just my toes on the peg.  The board gives my feet a more supported resting position, allowing me to sit up and be comfortable.  These fit the bill.

I have Barron's version which are essentially the same thing and they make a world of difference in highway speed and long distance riding.  I couldn't do either very long prior to putting them on.  Now the bike rides almost like a standard. I can use it all day at any semi-sane speed without much discomfort at all.

Why all croozer makers don't offer floorboards as an option is a mystery to me.

    Re: cobra floorboards

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the feedback.  I found a set of the Yamaha mini floorboards for the Warrior brand new on ebay for $108 shipping included, so I'll likely snag those.  But I have read lots of posts that ooze wonderful reviews for the mini boards, however I keep thinking I'm going to want a larger board.  Glad to know that Raider boards will bolt on with no mods for the Warrior.  I guess if I get them and don't like them I'll post the Yami mini boards in the classifieds and buy the Raider boards.

I just took a 860 mile three day ride from Tacoma WA to Crater Lake Oregon and back up through Eugene and Portland.  My feet would kill me a few times when all I had was the peg digging into the center of the arch of my foot.  I tried tucking my feet under the brake and shift lever, but that only worked for a short time and wasn't comfy after long.  So I hope the boards work out cause I'm geared up with the dual touring seat and backrests and some new ghost brackets and saddle bags and want to take some longer rides before summer's gone.
