I cut the tube & re-used the bracket to hold the fuel line.I didn't like the idea that it would be vibrating like crazy @ high speeds

tremaineiz.... That definately makes you a true purist and confirms the fact that you acknowlege & understand the methodology of Yamaha's design to secure the fuel line.

Several members have removed the FPR all together [:(]

As i already stated, it took a Corporate Decision on my part not to support the line, but i didn't disclose that i relocated the FPR on a very rigid 1-Off steel angle bracket in a slightly different position as shown below:

It's for sale if you want it [;)] [:)] LOL .. Ran it for 2 seasons with the left side naked Cake
I have a difficult time hacking up the factory parts but finally succumbed when i modified the AIS Speed* cover & bracket [;)]

Now I hope you've learned your lesson. Next time instead of starting at the paper and the bike for an hour. spend 5 minutes on RSW and you will have a much better idea what you are doing. Barons should have just clued in by now and started issueing Red Horse's instructions.

The instructions were lousy. I'm not sure I could have finished it without Redhorse's documentation.
