    New Corbin Stinger

Well, I finally made the plunge. I rode out to Corbin's Hollister shop this morning and had a seat made. I went with the Stinger because I wanted some lowerback support. The seat section is black "baby-gator" and the sides standard black. I also went with stitching in the back section rather than smooth (like Yamaha)...and CORBIN in red to keep the midnight theme. The service was excellent...about 2 hours from start to finish. Additionally, they also provide a great meal while you wait AND I got to meet Mike Corbin. Overall, a great experience. I've only got about 70 miles on the seat today, but it is WAY BETTERJavascript:insertsmilie('[:D]') than stock. I feel like I'm "in" the bike, rather than "on" the bike. I'll be doing a 400+ mile ride in about 3 weeks...looking forward to it rather than dreading "dead-butt!"

I love mine- although it seems hard, that's the reason why you get the long term support- no numb butt at all.

Actually, I just ordered a second one- going to sell my first one, because I originally got the wrong type of leather, plus I want the front narrower, and I also made a few minor tweaks which I now know will make it better.

That just looks comfy. I need to go out to Corbin myself, do get my seat reupholstered and get some tweaking done to the seat. I like the gator and the red stitching.

Warrior4Him....nice combination and neat touch with the Corbin red logo Cake

I've logged >15,000 miles the past 2 years with my Stinger and it still looks as good as new [;)]

Very well stated, * I feel like I'm "in" the bike, rather than "on" the bike. *

I got mine a couple of moths ago....the weather has kept me from putting any miles on it though. I hope it feels as good as it looks. I do like the red stitching.

I guess you can't beat that with a free meal included. Didn't take long either. I like the red Corbin for your Midnight. NOW I will have to buy one! Looks good!

Dang, glad you had so much better luck than me with Corbin. My Young Guns came back with the wrong foam and leather types. Theron in their customer service dept said--Oh, I typed it in wrong. No apology, no nothing. The alledged rebuilt one arrives Saturday per FedEx website. Can't wait. I'd like to meet Mike Corbin--I have a story to tell him:} Enjoy that seat!
Bytheway, if anyone gets a Corbin seat and the foam doesn't feel right, call them because they sometimes/often (their words) get the two part foam mixture wrong.
