    DIY Big Air Kit

I got the PCIII USB and created my own big air kit.

Gotta say thanks to you all, the photos and info on this web site were the only thing that allowed me to know I was doing things right.

I am playing with the power commander and will get it dyno'd soon. I will publish the results after I get it done.

    Mods for this effort
Twerth low buck exhaust mod with my own back pressure Plate
RU-2580 (K&N, 2 each) using "snorkels from the airbox"
    UP-123 (Unifilter, 2 ea) Breathers
Removed AIS System and home made blocking plates
    Installed PCIII USB

    home made air scoop

Looks good. Good job. Are all your filters oiled? It looks like one hasn't been oiled.

Thanks.....I bought the same part number and they were supposed to be oiled.

I thought the color difference was just ???? but I guess I should check into that...

Yeah, better safe than sorry. I'd re-oil, just in case.

Make sure nothing rubs the underneath of the tank. The metal is very soft and anything touching will wear a hole eventually. (I know from experience) Looks good.
