    FPR_High Pressure Hose

EDITED: CAN THE FITTINGS BE REMOVED FROM THE HOSE AND REUSED?
Can the Elbow fittings be swiveled around the hose without breaking the seal?
There appears to be a rigid tube beneath the hose connecting the two elbow fittings!
I'm trying to reuse this hose to relocate the FPR and don't want to break the seal at the elbow joints!
Anyone out there have first hand experience bending and or swiveling these components.

I twisted mine every which way when I was cleaning up the left side and relocating my FPR... No problems yet. YMMV.

Yup, no problem - you might want to use some clamps on that new hose though...

I agree with the hose clamp statement but since there will now be a need for hose clamps, why reuse the fittings? Just clamp the hose directly to the FPR.

I kept the fittings but used all new hose (FI rated, along with FI hose clamps). There is a semi-rigid tube under the hose on the stock fittings.

Did you use 5/16" ID FI hose?

I used plain old 5/16" fuel hose. According to the Gates website, the standard 5/16" fuel line hose has a burst pressure of 200psi with a working pressure of 50psi max. I removed the hard plastic line from the clip ends and double clamped the hose together. Then I ran the entire hose through a 5/8" heater hose to keep it insulated from the head. On my setup it runs a little close.
