ewells, the parts for my spindle nut tool were fabricated from two pieces of 1/4" Cold Rolled Steel that was cut to shape with a CNC Laser machine and then welded together for additional strength at the nut area. The Laser machine time is closely controlled/observed where i work so it's not likely that i will be able to fab additional parts for others.I basically duplicated Harley-Jones tool with Laser components @ 5" centerline & 1/2" drive.
You could have a muffler or welding shop duplicate his tool exactly or you could substitude the socket with a hex nut to keep the profile thinner at the tool. Hope this helps you out as another alternative.KIRBY thanks for your posting & the fine idea!
