    supercharger setup

i am having trouble with the supercharger tuning. i am getting codes 11, 14 and 26 i believe check valves will be the cure. the bike does not seem to take very well to any kind of boost at the moment. the supercharger sure looks and sounds mean (at idle) though. if anyone is still doing a turbo, please contact me or, reply with some info. i am pretty sure check valves will do the trick. im just trying to save time.
If it's not blown...it must suck!

You realize of course, that you explorers and the avant garde are required to heavily document everything you do...
so when the rest of us ( who will )jump on the turbcharged bandwagon, we will have a smoother go of it.

And, believe me, I ( we) will want and need the help.
And the turbo may just be the best boost to be had....

...I know nothing about this but am very excited to hear how it turns out!
    WANTED:
Heavily modified and well cared for Warrior. Ideally it will have pipes, paint, bars, wide tire kit, raked front, lowered rear (preferably not flip n grind), no internal engine mods, chrome, and low miles. I dont mind paying a fair price for a bike that has been babied. I will not buy something that wont pass a detailed inspection done by a Yamaha dealer. PM me if you can help! Thanks!

here the deal so far... ive tried to keep the throttle bodies in their original location but, no use. the system simply surges. tommorrow i will relocate one of the two throttle bodies in front of the supercharger. i will remove the other completely. i will try to keep an eye on this thread. if i lose it, i will start another. i will post pics of the "old" setup before i dismantle it.

    Re: supercharger setup

First, technical: What are you using to augment the fuel delivery? Is it surging at idle? What is the air fuel ratio at idle? Perhaps a richer mixture below idle speed in your map (to catch a lean mixture from stalling) and go real rich on the idle, and then slowly lean it out till it surges again. Then go back to the slightly richer side of idle.

Also, what displacement is the blower, whatis the crank to blower drive ratio and do you have a large enough plenum chamber for an air box to keep the blower from going into surge on its own?

Secondly, This project sounds very exciting. Where exactly is Laval? Is it by any chance in the eastern part of Canada? I would love to get that beast on my dyno.

Without the second amendment, the rest do not matter.
